As our AI Web & Content Growth Manager, you drive the scale of content production and web operations for a direct-to-consumer healthcare website. You will contribute to content strategy and write and edit where it counts, but your center of gravity is the system that enables scale. You will own and run the content production engine: configuring automation workflows, engineering and refining the prompts, guardrails, and templates that drive it, and leading the quality and compliance process every generated asset passes through before it goes live. You act as the critical human-in-the-loop making automated content production possible in a regulated industry.
You will also serve as the connective tissue across the entire pipeline, bridging the automation tools, SEO and GEO search requirements, supporting vendors, and internal reviewers across product, engineering, creative, medical, and legal teams. Keeping a site of this size accurate and performant requires moving cross-functional priorities forward, not just managing your own queue.
As our AI Web & Content Growth Manager, you own the content production engine. Your primary responsibilities include:
- AI Content Automation & Web Operations
- Build, own, and operate our AI-native content pipeline end-to-end using platforms like AirOps, configuring workflows, engineering prompts, and troubleshooting automation to reliably produce on-brand output at scale.
- Administer the HubSpot CMS, building and maintaining the landing pages, templates, and modules that the automation publishes into, plus the workflows connecting automation tools to HubSpot.
- Develop on-page optimization, translating metadata and structured-data requirements into automation rules and templates rather than relying on one-off manual edits.
- Lead or participate in platform migration work, including content audits, URL mapping, redirect strategy, and post-launch QA.
- Manage vendor relationships, including AI content platforms and any supporting technical web services.
- Quality Control & Compliance
- Review, edit, and approve AI-generated drafts before they enter the review pipeline, catching factual errors, off-brand language, and compliance gaps that automation alone misses.
- Manage the medical and legal review process end-to-end, routing content to the right reviewers, keeping approvals moving to deadline, and confirming sign-off to ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, HIPAA, and advertising standards.
- Conduct day-to-day quality control of the site's pages, including automated publishing oversight, content audits, and governance.
- Strategy, Analytics & Workflow Coordination
- Monitor traffic, engagement, and conversion performance across the site using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, feeding insights back into the prompts to target what actually moves the needle.
- Serve as the central hub tracking AI-generated content assets through review pipelines via project management tools like Jira, Asana, or ClickUp, routing expert feedback back into templates so the automation improves over time.
- Maintain content roadmaps and version-control practices for a high-volume, largely automated site.
- You are equally comfortable building automated systems as you are operating within them.
- You do not wait to be told the automation produced a bad page; you have already caught it, fixed the prompt, and prevented the next ten.
- You manage high volumes of AI-generated output across competing priorities, staying organized and communicating clearly about capacity.
- You know how to act decisively even when you do not have complete information, and you know exactly when to ask for clarity.
- You have a sharp eye for detail, consistently catching AI-generated errors, outdated disclaimers, or off-brand headlines before anyone else does.
- You prefer traditional manual content creation and are hesitant to manage large-scale AI generation pipelines.
- You struggle in a highly structured, process-driven environment where content governance, documentation, and approval workflows are non-negotiable.
- You prefer to work in a silo and are uncomfortable driving cross-functional priorities across medical, legal, and engineering teams.
- You are unfamiliar with the compliance sensitivities and rigorous review processes required in a regulated industry like healthcare.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in web content management, digital publishing, or content operations for a large-scale website.
- Direct experience with AI content generation and automation platforms (AirOps or similar); you can configure workflows, write prompts, and iterate on them, not just review finished copy.
- Hands-on HubSpot CMS experience, knowing the platform well enough to build, troubleshoot, and train others.
- Familiarity with complementary tools across the content and web stack, including CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Contentful), project management software, and basic HTML/CSS.
- Proven SEO knowledge to translate technical and on-page recommendations into scalable rules and templates.
- Clear vendor communication and coordination skills, knowing how to brief external partners and hold them accountable to quality and timelines.
- Comfort operating in a structured, process-driven environment where content governance, documentation, and approval workflows are non-negotiable.
- A sharp eye for detail, with the ability to catch AI-generated errors, outdated disclaimers, and off-brand headlines before anyone else does, alongside the technical aptitude to fix the prompt so it does not happen again.
- Prompt engineering experience specifically for content generation at scale, ideally in a regulated or compliance-sensitive context.
- Platform migration experience, having executed a CMS migration or major site restructure, including content audits, redirect mapping, and post-migration QA.
- Healthcare industry background with an understanding of the compliance sensitivities around health claims, FDA and FTC advertising guidelines, and HIPAA-adjacent content considerations.
- Experience with A/B testing and CRO tools (Optimizely, VWO, or similar) applied to content and landing page performance.
- Familiarity with marketing attribution and analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Tableau, HubSpot reporting) to connect content decisions to performance data.
- Familiarity with agentic coding tools (like Claude Code or Codex) and related MCP or CLI management.
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards and experience conducting or overseeing accessibility audits.
