Analytics Data Engineer

Super Dispatch is seeking a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to support our analytics and reporting ecosystem. This role will focus on maintaining reliable data pipelines, supporting Census reverse ETL use cases, and assisting with ad hoc analysis and Tableau reporting for internal teams.

The Analytics team is responsible for delivering trusted data, automating reporting, and enabling business stakeholders with clear, actionable insights. This role is designed for someone who enjoys working across analytics and light data engineering, with a primary focus on supporting existing architecture rather than building new systems from scratch.
What We Do

Our mission at Super Dispatch is to transform the world of vehicle shipping by becoming the leading platform for moving cars. For too long, the auto transport industry has been left without effective tools and instead given outdated processes and disconnected systems. The Super Dispatch platform is a one-stop-shop for everything Carriers and Shippers need to move cars faster, smarter, and easier. Backed by cutting edge technology and best-in-class software, Super Dispatch is the advanced auto transport experience taking carriers and shippers into the future.

Who We Are

Our diverse team is comprised of highly motivated professionals with a passion for solving big problems with technology. Our core values are built around learning, growing, evolving, and continuous experimentation. We believe and practice taking bold risks. We embrace failure as a lesson. We put our team first. We are committed to supporting each other and helping each other grow on this journey.
What You’ll Do

Census & Data Pipeline Support

  • Support and maintain Census syncs between Snowflake and downstream tools.
  • Help design and document Census models and sync logic to ensure data reliability and consistency.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data issues related to Census, Fivetran, and Segment pipelines.
  • Partner with Analytics to ensure upstream data supports activation and reporting needs.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Write and maintain SQL queries in Snowflake to support reporting and analysis.
  • Assist with ad hoc data requests and exploratory analysis for internal stakeholders.
  • Support the creation, maintenance, and updates of Tableau dashboards and published data sources.
  • Help validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies surfaced through reporting.

Collaboration & Process

  • Work with Analytics team members to refine data requirements and improve metric clarity.
  • Contribute SQL and documentation to shared repositories and knowledge bases.
  • Use tools like Notion, Git, and Jira to track work and communicate progress.
  • Support ongoing efforts to standardize definitions and improve data transparency.
What We’re Looking For

Technical Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working with SQL and relational databases, ideally Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with Census, or strong familiarity with reverse ETL concepts.
  • Experience working with Fivetran and Segment data pipelines.
  • Experience building or supporting Tableau dashboards.
  • Comfort working with Git and basic project tracking tools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting analytics teams in a SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with common business metrics and operational reporting.
  • Interest in data documentation, validation, and quality checks.

Who You Are

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working within established systems.
  • Analytical and curious, with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Collaborative and communicative when supporting internal teams.
  • Interested in growing your skills across analytics engineering and BI.

What We Offer

  • Unlimited Vacation (PTO)
  • Fully remote/work from home role
  • Gym membership/wellness stipend
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development
