What You Will Do:

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Business Stakeholders, Product Engineering, and Data Scientists/Data Engineers to understand data needs and translate complex business requirements into technical data solutions.

  • Analytical Rigor and Visual Storytelling: Able to transform complex quantitative analysis into high-impact dashboards and custom data tools (e.g., Plotly Dash) that drive business decisions.

  • Engineering Excellence: Deliver scalable data solutions by merging advanced SQL and Python proficiency with data engineering workflows, ensuring reliability through engineering best practices like CI/CD, testing, version control and monitoring.

  • Business Strategy: Proactively bring data-driven perspectives to the table that challenge assumptions, uncover growth opportunities, and shape the future direction of Netflix Consumer Products.

Who You Are:

  • You have 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, CS) or 8+ years of relevant professional experience.

  • You are an expert in SQL and possess deep experience with Python for data manipulation and automation.

  • You have a strong ability to translate ambiguous business requests into concrete data products.

  • You have a strong bias to action, favoring iteration and rapid results over perfect but delayed solutions.

  • You possess exceptional communication with technical and non-technical audiences; you can effectively influence senior stakeholders and explain complex technical concepts with clarity.

  • You are proactively learning and adopting AI capabilities to supercharge your workflow.
