About the role:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Analytics/BI Engineer to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will focus 60% of your time on engineering robust, scalable data models and transformation pipelines, and 40% on delivering strategic business insights through BI tools and dashboards. This position bridges the gap between data engineering and business analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making across the company. 

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand data needs, build well-documented and tested models using dbt and SQL, and support our analytics and reporting infrastructure using Snowflake and Tableau. 

 Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows using dbt, SQL, and Snowflake. 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data needs into clean, tested, and reusable data models. 
  • Own the development and documentation of the semantic layer that supports reporting, dashboarding, and self-service analytics. 
  • Create and optimize dashboards and reports using Tableau to deliver actionable insights to business teams. 
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing, validation, and monitoring practices. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, RevOps, Product, Marketing, Customer Success) to define KPIs, design metrics, and build analytic tools that support their objectives. 
  • Automate and streamline manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce error. 
  • Contribute to the development of data governance and best practices across the organization. 
  • Stay up to date on modern data stack tools, engineering patterns, and BI technologies. 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or related roles. 
  • Advanced experience with Snowflake, SQL, and dbt for data modeling and transformation. 
  • Strong experience with Tableau or similar BI tools for data visualization and dashboarding. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Proven ability to influence business decisions using data and strategic thinking. 

Nice to haves:   

  • Experience with Salesforce, Amplitude, or Vitally. 
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and/or digital advertising 
  • Experience building scalable analytics layers to support cross-functional data self-service. 
  • Ability to tell compelling stories with data that drive action. 
  • Strong understanding of data lifecycle from raw ingestion to business consumption.
