About the Revenue team

The Revenue team drives Affirm’s top-line growth through strategic partnerships, pricing, and go-to-market execution. We acquire, retain, and expand merchant relationships across eCommerce, in-store, telesales, and the Affirm app. The team leads onboarding, relationship management, and performance optimization to help partners succeed. We deliver value-added solutions, drive adoption, and support long-term business growth by connecting merchants and consumers through Affirm’s products.

About the Role

We’re looking for intelligent, driven professionals to join our Revenue Analytics team. This team is responsible for comprehensive analyses, reporting, and data solutions to support and grow our Revenue segments.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to craft comprehensive narratives for both internal and external stakeholders, and produce tools and solutions to scale data usage with Revenue. In addition to analytical rigor, the ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills to work proactively within the organization and with clients to drive forward recommendations.
What You’ll Do
Optimize decisions and execution with analyses, and communicate to internal and external partners

  • Be a strategic partner with our Client Success and Marketplace Teams as the data SME for respective Revenue segments and merchants for their point-of-sale and Marketplace business

  • Create business cases, insights, and dashboards as well as handle experiments to engage Affirm’s external merchant base; demonstrating Affirm’s value proposition and product performance

  • Create internal analyses to assess Revenue performance, drive recommendations, and inform critical decisions; using insights to serve segment strategy and execution

Scale impact

  • Standardize common use cases, provide the analytics infrastructure, and automate analyses and dashboards to scale decisions and execution within Revenue and with top external merchants

Own comprehensive analytics solution

  • Define KPIs, performance benchmarks, and methodologies, including identifying and working with unstructured and structured data sources (in-house and third-party) to enable solutions and generate actionable insights

  • Provide project and analytics guidance to a cross-functional team, acting as the analytics point of contact

  • Propose, monitor, and contextualize experiment design and execution to drive optimizations of Affirm’s GTM efforts, empirically quantify the value of Affirm to our prospective merchants, and upsell enhanced offers to existing merchants

What We Look For

  • 5+ years of experience in an analytically-driven role (consulting, finance, analytics, etc.)

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools (e.g. Sigma, Looker, Tableau). Understanding or a demonstrated aptitude to learn Python is a plus

  • Demonstrated aptitude in leveraging AI tools for analytics (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, including ability to operate in ambiguity and establishing analytical frameworks to apply to business problems

  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations, such as aligning stakeholders, or choosing the most impactful data to drive decisions

  • Ability to communicate effectively, and craft compelling narratives to influence business and technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization, internally and externally

  • Strong organization and execution skills, including ability to operate independently and drive multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously to drive business goals

  • Prior track record in building successful cross-functional relationships with partners internally and externally

  • Self-starter and a track record of successfully driving projects from end to end (from building strategy to implementation)

  • Passion and drive to disrupt both the retail and lending industry for the better

  • Enough laziness to find a faster way to do your least favorite tasks

  • Humility and a team player - you go out of your way to help teammates

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the FinTech or Payments industry

  • Prior experience performing data analytics for marketplace platforms

  • Demonstrated aptitude in AI tools for analytics (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)
