As an APAC Data Centre Site Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of that mission. This is not just a data centre role-it's a chance to design, deploy, and optimize infrastructure in high-performance environments where every millisecond matters. You'll work directly with elite engineers, technologists, and traders to solve complex challenges that move global markets.

Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and maintain cutting-edge hardware across APAC exchange colocation and general-purpose data centres
  • Lead onsite delivery for large-scale infrastructure rollouts, including racks, cabling, power, servers, and networking
  • Ensure seamless integration of servers, network switches, and storage systems into Citadel's global trading stack
  • Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure performance using advanced testing and diagnostic tools
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and low-latency environments
  • Travel across the APAC region to support business-critical deployments and initiatives

Qualifications:
Technical Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in colocations and data centres, ideally in financial or high-performance environments
  • Deep understanding of hardware lifecycle management and maintenance across:
  • Servers: HP, Cisco, Dell, Supermicro, Lenovo
  • Network: Cisco, Arista, Raritan
  • Appliances: FSMLabs, Novasparks, Microchip, Safran
  • Storage: EMC/Dell, Isilon, NetApp, Pure
  • Smart electrical systems and PDUs
  • Strong colocation infrastructure knowledge: space planning, rack layouts, power/cooling design
  • Expertise in installing and cabling equipment (fiber/copper), including termination, testing, and certification
  • Familiarity with infrastructure diagnostic tools: OTDR, light meters, cable testers
  • Understanding of cross-connect deployment in colocation and exchange environments
  • Proficiency in Windows 11/10, MS Office; basic Linux knowledge a plus
  • Experience with baseboard management tools: ILO, iDRAC, or equivalent

Operational & Business Execution
  • Proven track record managing distributed data centre operations across multiple countries and time zones
  • Strong ability to plan and execute large-scale rollouts while maintaining strategic oversight
  • Experience bridging knowledge across server, network, and storage domains
  • Skilled in managing vendor relationships and evaluating colocation contracts
  • Organized and self-directed, with the ability to balance competing demands and ensure uptime
  • Familiarity with data centre safety standards and operational best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English; fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Hindi is a strong plus
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the APAC region
