Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Restful APIs using Java and related technologies.
- Utilize tools like Splunk, Swagger, Postman, and Assertible for API development and testing purposes.
- Write, configure, and maintain API proxies on Apigee (OPDK)
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug issues on API Gateway platforms.
- Strong understanding on security model, oath concepts.
- Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure API solutions align with business requirements and best practice.
Qualification
- 5-8 years of overall professional experience in software development
- Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in designing and developing APIs using Java
- Proven experience in designing well-defined Restful APIs
- Proficiency in API tools such as Splunk, Swagger, Postman, and Assertible
- Hands-on experience in writing API proxies on Apigee platform
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to debug issues on Apigee Gateway
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of APIs is a plus.
