SuccessFactors Employee Central Solution Architect

Develop, maintain, integrate, configure, install, test, and deploy enterprise applications supporting food and agriculture operations. Provide advanced application support, manage incidents, validate releases, and collaborate with product teams, developers, vendors, users, and leadership to ensure stable production outcomes.
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Senior SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Solution Architect with 5–6 years of experience in HRIS configuration and technical implementation. This role requires deep expertise in EC configuration, complex business rules, role-based permissions, and integration, with a strong HR background and technical acumen. The position is remote, with preference for candidates available in CST time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Configuration
- Design and configure HR data models (Corporate Data Model, Succession Data Model, Country-Specific Data Models).
- Implement and manage core HR management configuration, including employment structures and organizational hierarchies.
- Configure foundation objects such as Position, Job Classification, Location, and Pay Structure.
- Lead position management setup, workflows, and vacancy handling.
- Business Rules & Workflows
- Develop and maintain complex business rules using MDF framework.
- Configure workflows, triggers, and validations to support HR processes.
- Manage event reasons and event derivation frameworks for accurate process automation.
- Security & Permissions
- Configure and optimize Role-Based Permissions (RBP) for secure and compliant access.
- Ensure proper governance of granted and target populations.
- Integration & Technical Expertise
- Support integration between SuccessFactors EC and other HR/enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with application developers to ensure seamless technical implementation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience in SuccessFactors EC configuration.
- Strong background in HR management processes with technical implementation skills.
- Proven expertise in:
- HR data models and localization requirements.
- Position management and employee data configuration.
- Business rules, workflows, and event frameworks.
- RBP configuration and governance.
- Experience with RVP and integration projects.
- EC Certification required.
- Prior experience as an Application Developer with SuccessFactors – SAP EC is a plus.
Work Arrangement
