Job Description

Duties include:

A. Test and deploy web services and Java code resulting from the SRS and defects.

B. Interface with other HHSC/DADS development groups to ensure customer support provided as required.

C. Provide after-hours support.

D. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

· 5 years of Experience in IT and the application development life cycle

· 5 years of Experience in UNIX programming development

· 5 years of Experience in WebSphere development

· 5 years of Experience in Java and JSF programming development

· 5 years of Experience in Oracle/Sybase programming development

· 5 years of Experience in Hibernate programming development

· 5 years of Experience in performing rigorous test case scenarios

· 5 years of Experience with GUI (Desktop and Web)

· 5 years of Web services programming experience

· 5 years of Previous experience validating business requirements and design specifications with users

· 4 years of Experience in developing rigorous test case scenarios using UML or similar technology

· 4 years of Experience with customer service

· 4 years of Experience providing after-hours support

· 4 years of Experience developing rigorous Unit Test scripts

· 4 years of Experience creating application builds and working with code versioning tools

· 3 years of Experience developing application systems that are Section 508 compliant

· 3 years of Experience in Informatica development

Desired:

· 3 years of Experience working in a State/Federal government environment.

· 1 year of Experience with DADS programs a plus.
