About the Program

The Domaine University Apprenticeship Program is a structured, 12-week hybrid learning and work experience designed to develop the next generation of Project and Product Managers in the eCommerce and Shopify space. This cohort will give students hands-on exposure to real client projects, internal tools, and delivery processes while receiving structured mentorship and training from experienced Domaine team members.

Our goal is to identify, train, and hire high-potential talent — with opportunities for full-time roles upon successful completion, or support in securing opportunities with partner companies.

Program Dates: The cohort is planned to launch in March 2026. Future cohorts may be offered during summer and fall terms.

Program Structure

  • Duration: 12 weeks paid program, with possibility to transition to full time at the end
  • Time Commitment: 20 hrs/week (8–10 hrs learning, 10–12 hrs applied work)
  • Format: Hybrid learning and hands-on project shadowing

Curriculum Overview

  • Weeks 1–4: Self-guided foundational learning + weekly group discussions
  • Weeks 3–6: Self-guided Domaine-specific process training
  • Weeks 5–8: Group training sessions focused on applying learning
  • Weeks 6–12: Project shadowing + applied experience with senior PMs
  • Ongoing: Assessments, checkpoints, and culture integration
  • Weeks 12: Final assessment & capstone presentation

Post-Graduation Career Paths

  • Primary: Project Manager, Product Manager
  • Alternative: Project Coordinator / Jr. PM, QA Analyst, Implementation Specialist, Product Assistant, Client Success Associate
Who Should Apply

We are looking for students who are:

  • Graduating in 2026 with a major in Business, Economics, Technology, Marketing or Communications

Role & Responsibilities

As part of our 12-week Apprenticeship Program, interns will participate in structured learning modules and hands-on projects. Upon successful completion, high-performing interns may be offered a part-time or full-time role as Project Manager at Domaine, the world’s largest independent Shopify agency.

This is a self-directed learning environment, especially during the early weeks of the program. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to take initiative, manage their own learning progress, seek out answers, and know when to ask for help. This internship is designed to simulate the autonomy expected of full-time contributors on the Domaine team.

During the internship, participants will:

  • Assist Project Managers with task coordination, status updates, and meeting notes
  • Participate in project discovery, client communications, and sprint planning
  • Help track deliverables, timelines, and project milestones using internal tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, QA, and Strategy
  • Support documentation and quality assurance during project launches
  • Learn and apply best practices for managing digital product teams
Compensation
  • Paid 12-week internship with optional academic credit
  • Upon successful completion, candidates may be considered for a paid Project Manager and other related positions
