About the Job:
We're looking for a talented Art Manager to help define and evolve the visual language of Comfrt across every product category. This role will partner closely with the Design leaders to shape a distinctive and ownable brand aesthetic through graphics, print, pattern, branding, packaging, and storytelling across apparel, home, accessories, and future lifestyle categories. From seasonal collections to special collaborations, you'll help bring the Comfrt vision to life while ensuring every graphic expression feels cohesive, elevated, and unmistakably Comfrt.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the Design Directors to help define, evolve, and maintain the unique visual identity of the Comfrt brand across all product categories.
  • Create original graphics, artwork, branding systems, prints, patterns, typography, and seasonal visual concepts across apparel, home, accessories, packaging, and future lifestyle products.
  • Lead the development of seasonal graphic stories that create a cohesive visual language across collections.
  • Design branding, logos, artwork, and creative assets for collaborations, licensed collections, and co-branded partnerships while ensuring every partnership still feels authentically Comfrt.
  • Develop graphics across a wide range of apparel categories, including logo, licensed, non-logo, placement, repeat, novelty, and specialty graphics.
  • Design packaging, trims, labels, hangtags, and other branded touchpoints that elevate the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Product Design, Production, Marketing, Brand, and Creative teams to bring concepts to life from initial idea through final production.
  • Identify and interpret emerging fashion, graphic, cultural, home, art, and lifestyle trends through research and social listening to continually push the Comfrt aesthetic forward.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Comfrt customer, brand positioning, and evolving marketplace while helping establish a recognizable visual point of view.
  • Develop original graphics and artwork while understanding how they translate across various materials, fabrication techniques, and product categories.
  • Partner with factories and cross-functional teams to provide clear artwork direction and ensure graphic execution, print quality, scale, placement, and application methods align with design intent.
  • Communicate directly with vendors, review strike-offs, and provide timely feedback to ensure artwork executes accurately.
  • Maintain organized digital artwork libraries, seasonal assets, and brand graphic archives.
  • Present creative concepts, seasonal directions, and graphic stories to cross-functional partners and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Fine Arts, or a related field—or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in graphic design, art direction, apparel graphics, or brand design, preferably within apparel, lifestyle, home, or consumer brands
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong eye for color, composition, typography, layout, and concept development
  • Exceptional taste level with the ability to build and maintain a consistent visual brand aesthetic across multiple product categories
  • Strong understanding of graphic, print, embroidery, appliqué, embellishment, wash, dye, and specialty application techniques across apparel and home products
  • Experience developing branding systems, seasonal graphic languages, and visual storytelling across collections
  • Experience creating graphics, branding, and artwork for collaborations, licensed products, and co-branded partnerships
  • Understand factory production capabilities and application methods to proactively problem-solve during development and support efficient execution from concept through production
  • Versatile artwork range, with the ability to execute across a broad spectrum of design styles—from expressive illustrations and all-over prints to clean logos, typography, and minimal graphics
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong presentation, communication, and creative storytelling skills
  • A collaborative, positive team player who enjoys partnering cross-functionally to build great product

Please include a portfolio showcasing apparel graphics, branding, typography, print and pattern development, packaging, collaboration work, and concept development.
