Ce que nous recherchons

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un·e Artiste technique sénior·e UI pour rejoindre notre équipe. Vous établirez les normes pour la création des systèmes d'interface utilisateur (UI) fondamentaux qui nous propulseront vers l'avenir. Vous prendrez en charge et dirigerez la mise en œuvre des matériaux UI clés, en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les concepteurs, les artistes, les producteurs, les programmeurs et plus encore.

Responsabilités

  • Travailler avec les artistes UI et leur équipe pour créer les meilleures pratiques et des flux de travail optimaux.
  • Communiquer et travailler en étroite collaboration avec les programmeurs.euses d'interface utilisateur pour développer de nouvelles fonctionnalités du moteur.

  • Analyser la mémoire et la performance tout au long du développement d'un projet.

  • Créer des shaders efficaces et conviviaux pour les utiliser dans le jeu.

  • Analyser et communiquer les défis techniques pour l'art UI et les concepts de design UX.

  • Rechercher et développer des prototypes pour des pipelines artistiques et aider à donner vie aux idées de vos collègues.

Qualifications

  • 6+ ans d'expérience dans l'industrie.
  • Connaissance et grande expertise avec Unreal Engine 5, en particulier de l'éditeur de matériel et de l'UMG.

  • Capable de collaborer et de bien travailler avec des équipes de diverses disciplines.

  • Capacité de prendre en charge des contenus/systèmes de qualité expédiable qui sont économes en mémoire et performants.

  • Capacité à penser de façon originale pour surmonter les défis techniques.

  • Capacité à s'autodiriger et à être autonome lorsque cela est nécessaire.

C’est un plus

  • Connaissance pratique de HLSL ou GLSL.
  • Connaissance pratique du scripting Python ou d'un autre langage de programmation.

  • Bonne connaissance d'une application de modélisation 3D et d'un éditeur d'images.

  • Expérience avec les plateformes de la génération actuelle (Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5).

  • Expérience avec d'autres moteurs populaires ou propriétaires (Unity, etc.).

  • Fort équilibre entre l'esthétique créative/visuelle et les compétences techniques

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Technical UI Artist to join our team. You’ll set the standard for building the fundamental UI systems that will take us into that future. You’ll own and drive the implementation of key UI materials, working closely with designers, artists, producers, programmers and more.

Responsibilities

  • Work with UI artists and team to create best practices and optimal workflows.
  • Communicate and work closely with UI programmers to develop new engine features.

  • Analyze memory and performance throughout a project's development.

  • Create efficient and user friendly shaders for use in game.

  • Analyze and communicate the technical challenges for UI art and UX design concepts.

  • Research and develop prototypes for art pipelines and help bring your coworkers’ ideas to life.

Qualifications

  • 6+ Years of industry experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, specifically the material editor and UMG.

  • Able to collaborate and work well with teams from various disciplines.

  • Take ownership of shippable quality content/systems that are memory efficient and performant.

  • Ability to think out-of-the-box to overcome technical challenges.

  • Ability to self-direct, and be autonomous when it is required.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Working knowledge of HLSL or GLSL.
  • Working knowledge of Python scripting or another programming language.

  • Good knowledge of a 3D modeling application and an image editor.

  • Experience with current generation platforms (Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5).

  • Experience with other popular or proprietary engines (Unity, etc).

  • Strong balance of creative/visual aesthetics and technical skills
