Assistant Director of Financial Aid
Location: Austin, TX

Onsite only. ( NOT REMOTE)

Are you ready to take the next step in your financial aid career? CHCP is seeking an Assistant Director of Financial Aid to support the Director in managing the Financial Aid Department, ensuring compliance, and providing an outstanding experience for students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director in supervising and mentoring Financial Aid staff

  • Oversee financial aid processes, including packaging, disbursements, and verification

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulations

  • Conduct student counseling, including entrance and exit loan sessions

  • Assist with department reporting, team training, and operational initiatives

  • Represent the department at campus events such as orientation and open houses

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3–4+ years of financial aid experience in a post-secondary institution

  • Strong knowledge of federal Title IV regulations

  • Experience with CampusVue or similar student information systems preferred

  • Leadership, organizational, and communication skills
