Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

As part of Dreamscape Hospitality, the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plays a vital role in driving operational success, elevating service standards, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and engagement across all dining and banquet venues.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and in-room dining and Banquets, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to every Hyatt brand standard
- Confidently oversee and manage banquet operations independently in the absence of senior leadership, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency
- Partner closely with the Senior Food & Beverage Leadership to develop and execute strategic proposals, seasonal initiatives, and holiday promotions that drive revenue and enhance guest engagement
- Champion Hyatt’s purpose of care by consistently delivering elevated and memorable guest experiences
- Drive revenue growth through innovative programming, promotions, and operational improvements
- Serve as a role model for the team by leading with positivity, enthusiasm, and professionalism, while consistently adhering to company policies, brand standards, and operational guidelines
- Foster a culture of accountability by effectively managing both personal performance and team expectations, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals
- Oversee colleague scheduling, coaching, and performance management to build a high-performing and service-oriented team
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as Hyatt operational guidelines, and Hyatt's F&B compliance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to create innovative menus, seasonal offerings, and distinctive dining experiences aligned with market trends
- Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and support procurement strategies to drive operational efficiency and profitability
- Respond to guest inquiries and feedback with urgency and professionalism, resolving concerns while maintaining brand integrity
- Ensure guest satisfaction at the Highest levels
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to achieve departmental goals and maximize profitability
- Proven leadership experience within Food & Beverage operations in a full-service hotel or upscale hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of Hyatt brand standards, service excellence principles, and current industry trends
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, inspire teams, and foster a positive, accountable work environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
- Valid certifications (ServSafe, HACCP, or equivalent) and TABC a must

Requirements
- Ability to stand and remain on feet for extended periods throughout scheduled shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to walk frequently across multiple outlets, banquet spaces, and service areas within the property
- Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull approx. 30 pounds regularly, including equipment, supplies, and inventory items
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed to perform operational and supervisory tasks
- Must be able to effectively navigate both front-of-house and back-of-house environments, including kitchens and storage areas
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business demands
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with Hyatt grooming and presentation standards
- Capacity to respond promptly and efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Strong focus on safety, with the ability to follow all company policies, procedures, and OSHA/health regulations
- Monitor, report and rectify set up and breakdowns and potential hazards in Banquet spaces, F&B outlets and Hotel areas
