Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager with at least 7 years of experience to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects. The candidate will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and budgets
  • Support senior project managers in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless project execution
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare status reports
  • Identify risks and issues, and assist in mitigation and resolution strategies
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure proper record-keeping
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, clients, and team members
  • Assist in resource allocation and workload management
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and industry best practices
  • Participate in project meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in project coordination or project management roles
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or equivalent certification (preferred)
  • Experience in Construction, BFSI
  • Familiarity with budgeting, resource planning, and risk management frameworks
