We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Assistant Vice President of Account Management. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving the success of our insurance solutions and services. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, understanding their unique needs, and delivering tailored solutions that exceed their expectations. You will collaborate closely with our consulting team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of account managers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective client relationship management.
- Develop and execute account management strategies to maximize client retention and growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and understanding their business objectives.
- Collaborate with the consulting team to design and implement innovative insurance solutions tailored to client needs.
- Monitor and analyze client feedback, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of services, meeting client expectations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to the account management team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating new insights into our account management approach.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking and lead generation activities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, promoting our brand and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in account management, with a proven track record in the insurance industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience in consulting or a consulting-like environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other account management tools.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
