The Associate Account Executive will close business, build relationships with trading card collectors, and shape product offerings at Alt in the TCG market.
The summary above was generated by AI

Alt is unlocking the value of alternative assets, starting with the $5 B trading-card market. We let collectors buy, sell, vault, and finance their cards in one place and we are backed by leaders at Stripe, Coinbase, Seven Seven Six, and pro athletes like Tom Brady and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Our next frontier is real-time pricing at scale—the Alt Value that powers every trade, loan, and product on the platform.

The Role: Closer Meets TCG Connoisseur

We’re looking for a proven TCG expert with deep knowledge and passion for trading card games across all formats—whether it’s Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, One Piece, or the hottest new releases. You know the sets, the print runs, the format staples, and the stories behind the cardboard. You understand the difference between a Binder Myth Rare and a Serialized, and you can talk Alpha Black Lotus condition grades and market comps with serious collectors. And you know how to translate that knowledge into trusted relationships and closed deals. Think of yourself as a high-end advisor for collector portfolios—helping clients understand the value of what they own, when to buy, when to sell, and how to grow their collection with confidence.

You’ve been in sales 3–5 years, you live in Salesforce and Outreach, and you’re not just chasing deals—you’re building pipelines, handling objections, and consistently beating quota. Bonus points if you’ve bought, sold, or traded high-end TCG singles, sealed product, or graded cards.

What You’ll Do:
  • Close business. Own the full sales cycle and bring high-end TCG buyers, sellers, and consignors onto Alt.
  • Hunt daily. We’ll start you with accounts, but your long-term success comes from sourcing new consignors and collectors across all major TCG formats—MTG, Pokemon, One Piece, Flesh & Blood, and beyond.
  • Build trust. In TCG, reputation is everything. You’ll become the go-to person that serious collectors—from kitchen table players to tournament grinders to whale investors—want to consign with, buy from, and sell to.
  • Shape product. You’ll spot gaps—whether it’s grading integrations, set-specific pricing tools, sealed product workflows, or buylist features—and bring those insights back to the team.
  • Run your process. Prospecting, qualification, relationship-building—it’s all muscle memory for you.

You’ll Love This Role If You…

  • Are a builder. You’re not here to maintain—you’re here to help define the modern marketplace for high-end TCG collectibles.
  • Live for the history. You know the print runs on key sets, can talk PSA/BGS grades and market comps, and have strong opinions on which formats and sets hold long-term value.
  • Want your passion to be your career. Talking TCG, advising collectors on their portfolios, and connecting people to the right opportunities is your dream job.
  • Are coachable and curious. Even if you don’t know every set or nuance, you’re eager to learn and humble enough to take feedback.
You Bring:
  • 3–5 years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota and managing pipeline in Salesforce (or similar CRM)
  • Strong communication skills with both customers and internal teams
  • Relentless drive—comfortable with cold outreach, discovery, and deal-closing conversations
  • Experience in transacting/brokering collectibles across various price points.
  • A deep passion for TCG—whether as a player, collector, grinder, or lifelong fan of the hobby

What you will get from us:

  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of high-end TCG and cutting-edge fintech—helping build the most trusted platform for the hobby
  • Ground floor opportunity as an early member of the Alt team; you’ll directly shape the direction of our company. The opportunities for growth are truly limitless.
  • An inclusive company culture that is being built intentionally to foster an environment that supports and engages talent in their current and future endeavors.
  • $100/month work-from-home stipend (US only)
  • $200/month wellness stipend (US only)
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • WeWork office Stipend (US only)
  • 401(k) retirement benefits (US only)
  • Generous paid parental leave (US only)
  • Competitive healthcare benefits, including HSA, for you and your dependent(s) (US only)

Base: $80K OTE: $140K (uncapped).
