The Role

Bitly is seeking an experienced  Account Executive to join our Sales team during a pivotal stage of growth as we advance Bitly’s sales and product-led sales (PLS) motions.  

In this role, you will be strategically focused on selling to Mid-Market and Enterprise companies to drive revenue growth through new logos acquisition and upgrading existing accounts in partnership with our Customer Success team. This individual will bring a strong level of industry knowledge, insights, and relationships based on past experience within the SaaS environment.

This individual will be a subject matter expert in communicating the value proposition, ROI, and best practices of Bitly’s products and services, while also strategically managing the sales process through a consultative approach. They will also be a critical voice in surfacing customer feedback to the broader organization to drive strategic GTM initiatives. 

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, customer centric, and inquisitive in nature, while also exhibiting an eagerness to build authentic relationships with senior level executives.  They also have a consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas in a SaaS environment. PLG experience is a plus!

What You'll Do

  • Drive scalable revenue growth across new and existing accounts within the Internet Software and Services sector, exceeding quarterly and annual quotas 
  • Communicate the value of Bitly’s breadth and depth of products/use cases to vertical specific prospects, articulating value proposition and ROI  
  • Lead sales cycle including account mapping, opportunity sourcing, consultation, pricing, and contract negotiation through deal close
  • Create, own, and forecast revenue bookings against targets
  • Develop repeatable processes and vertical best practices to drive increased teamwide expansion wins
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with senior executives at the Director, VP, and C Suite levels 
  • Collaborate with key cross functional partners across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing with a customer centric lens

Who You Are

  • 2+ years SaaS sales experience in Enterprise and/or mid-market. 
  • Industry experience and strong relationships with key decision makers across Internet Software and Services organizations
  • Experience operating in a high energy, fast paced environment focused on hyper growth
  • Strong track record of quota attainment and outstanding performance in a customer focused environment
  • Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), in addition to proven ability engaging with C-Level executives
  • Inquisitive nature, with strong analytical thinking and reasoning skills Ability to successfully drive revenue and growth through the development of long-term, strategic relationships with new and existing customers by navigating complex organizations
  • Strong desire and proven ability to work cross functionally across a global organization with a solutions focused approach
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline OR equivalent experience is required

Compensation

This role includes a competitive base salary plus commission eligibility. Commission earnings are based on performance against defined targets and paid according to Bitly's commission plan.

This position is salaried and classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which means the you are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond the standard 40-hour workweek.
The salary range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs.

Base Salary Range
$65,000$75,000 USD
