The Role

Treaty Oak is seeking an Associate, Accounting to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the Company, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and close support. This role is designed for early-career professionals seeking experience in a complex, multi-entity accounting environment within a high-growth renewable energy platform.

The Associate will partner with other functions, including Corporate Finance & Compliance, FP&A, Tax, and Project Finance, to ensure accurate data flow, and will contribute to process improvement and standardization efforts as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare journal entries and support monthly close procedures

· Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances

· Assist with accounts payable processing and related workflows

· Support tracking and recording of project-related transactions

· Maintain organized documentation to support audits and internal controls

· Assist in preparation of schedules and audit support materials

· Partner with other functions (e.g., FP&A, treasury) to ensure accurate data flow

· Contribute to process improvements and standardization efforts

Education and Qualifications

· 2–3 years of accounting experience (including public accounting or relevant industry experience)

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

· Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Exposure to multi-entity or project-based accounting environments

· CPA or interest in pursuing a CPA a plus
