Position Overview
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for two Associate Cloud Oprations Technicians to join the Cloud Services Team, which will ensure seamless delivery and security of cloud services for clients by configuring, maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting systems. To keep us headed in the right direction, we're looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team's diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.
What You'll Do

• Liaise with Development, Support, and Implementation to provide the best possible experience to our clients.
• Create documentation for policies and procedures used in the department for software installations, server configurations, or troubleshooting.
• Work closely with other Cloud Services groups to resolve issues or help with configuration changes/testing.
• Work in SQL performing activities like database backups, restores, and running scripts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate manager or the management team.

We're Excited to Learn More About You
Your experience may include:

• 3+ years of technical support experience in a Windows domain environment, including troubleshooting simple to complex software/hardware issues.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems.
• Working knowledge of scripting for administrative tasks (VBScript, PowerShell, or command-line batch files)
• Experience with additional Microsoft products, including SQL Server Management Studio
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and network troubleshooting

You may have other skills or credentials, including:

• Highly organized with strong time-management skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Associate degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Two available shifts:

• Tuesday-Saturday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm CT (4x10 schedule)
• Monday, Thursday, Friday, Satuday 8:30 pm - 7:00 am CT - overnight shift (4x10 schedule)

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $45,000 - $60,000 USD. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.
