Project Scope
We are seeking an Associate Director of Revenue Cycle Technology & Analytics to lead reporting, analytics, and metric-definition workstreams within a hospital billing environment. This role will drive actionable insights, KPI development, and performance measurement across Epic and/MEDITECH implementations and optimizations, supporting both go-live readiness and post-live revenue stabilization efforts.
Position Summary
The Associate Director – Revenue Cycle is a hands-on technical leader responsible for delivering metric definition, reporting enablement, and analytics workstreams that support in-depth analysis and improved hospital billing performance. This individual will lead segments of Epic transitions, own KPI and baseline development, and ensure reporting is accurate, actionable, and operationalized. The ideal candidate brings deep revenue cycle analytics expertise, strong leadership presence, and the ability to communicate effectively across executive, operational, and technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead reporting, analytics, and metric-definition workstreams within Epic hospital billing implementations and optimizations.
- Define technical KPI logic, data sources, and assumptions; perform baseline revenue and performance analysis.
- Design and deliver dashboards, operational reports, and executive-ready performance summaries.
- Analyze trends and variances, translating data into clear recommendations and action plans.
- Support go-live readiness, command center monitoring, and post-live revenue stabilization efforts.
- Mentor Managing Consultants, Senior Consultants, Consultants, and client-side analysts; ensure deliverable quality and consistency.
- Partner with operational and technical stakeholders to ensure reporting aligns with organizational goals and billing performance targets.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Epic hospital billing revenue cycle analytics and performance measurement.
- Experience leading workstreams within Epic revenue cycle implementations or optimizations.
- Demonstrated ability to define metrics, baseline data, identify trends, and produce actionable insights.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive, operational, technical, and analyst audiences.
- Experience mentoring and developing consultant-level staff and client-side analysts.
- Ability to travel on a project basis as required.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Epic hospital billing go-lives and post-live stabilization efforts.
- Background in dashboard development and executive-level reporting design.
- Familiarity with revenue cycle KPIs including AR days, denial rates, cash collections, and charge capture.
- Experience working in complex health system or multi-facility environments.
- Background in both Epic and MEDITECH revenue cycle environments.
