In an era where space underpins the global economy, sovereign capability is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Digantara is delivering the sovereign space surveillance capabilities that nations cannot afford to wait for.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an experienced government sales professional to drive business growth across Europe by engaging with Ministries of Defence, space agencies, intelligence organizations, NATO stakeholders, and defense primes. You will be responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, identifying and capturing opportunities, and converting them into long-term programs.

Working closely with regional leadership, product teams, and strategic partners, you will position Digantara's Space Domain Awareness and space intelligence capabilities within national and multinational defense programs. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, an understanding of European defense procurement, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account and opportunity strategies across assigned European markets, owning the sales cycle from opportunity identification through contract award.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Ministries of Defence, space agencies, intelligence organizations, NATO entities, and defense primes to position Digantara's capabilities within existing and future programs.

  • Lead capture activities, including opportunity qualification, customer engagement, competitive positioning, proposal development, and commercial negotiations.

  • Collaborate with strategic partners, system integrators, and defense primes to develop joint pursuits and expand Digantara's presence within larger defense and space programs.

  • Work closely with product, engineering, solution architects, and program teams to develop customer-centric solutions and compelling value propositions.

  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, revenue forecast, and account plans while achieving regional growth targets.

  • Represent Digantara at defense exhibitions, industry forums, customer workshops, and strategic engagements across Europe.

  • Provide market intelligence on customer priorities, procurement programs, competitor activity, and emerging capability requirements to support product and business strategy.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Aerospace, or a related discipline. An MBA or equivalent is an advantage.

  • 8–12 years of experience in defense sales, government business development, account management, or capture management.

  • Demonstrated experience selling complex defense, aerospace, ISR, C4ISR, space, or mission-critical technology solutions to government customers.

  • Strong understanding of European defense procurement processes and multi-stakeholder government acquisition environments.

  • Experience working with defense primes, system integrators, or government agencies across Europe.

Preferred Qualities
  • Experience in the business development or sales organization of a European defense, aerospace, or space company, or a global defense prime operating in Europe.

  • Strong understanding of European defense procurement ecosystems, including Ministries of Defence, NATO, OCCAR, and collaborative capability development programs.

  • Proven ability to develop strategic customer relationships and successfully capture complex government opportunities.

  • Experience working within cross-functional teams and partner ecosystems to position capabilities within larger defense programs.

  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth environment with the initiative to build opportunities, solve complex challenges, and drive business outcomes independently.
