WHO WE ARE

We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business. It’s been our mission to Serve the World Flavor since we first opened in 1994, and we’re just getting started. 1997 saw the opening of our first brand partner operated Wingstop location, and by 2002 we had served the world one billion wings. It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry.

Above all else – our success is largely due to our people and our core values, or what we call The Wingstop Way of being entrepreneurial, service-minded, fun, and authentic. We believe having a strong people foundation centered on these collective values creates a crave-worthy culture and talented team, as well as ensures our brand is poised for accelerated growth. We all win together.

WHAT WE’LL NEED

The Associate Manager of Social Insights & Analytics will own the intelligence that makes Wingstop Social smarter. Turn social listening, customer behavior, cultural signals, competitive activity and performance data into clear recommendations for what Wingstop should do next.

You will connect what Wingstop sees in culture and community with how our social work performs, helping the team make better decisions faster. This role is not a reporting function for reporting's sake: the expectation is to turn signals and data into recommendations, actions and measurable learning across always-on Social, campaigns and creators. You'll operate with leverage: partner tools and agency inputs handle collection and production, so your time concentrates on judgment — what matters, why, and what Wingstop should do about it.

Social Listening & Culture

  • Own day-to-day social listening across Wingstop, customers, culture and competitors.

  • Identify emerging conversations, customer behaviors, trends, opportunities and risks relevant to Wingstop.

  • Assess Wingstop's permission and opportunity to participate and bring clear recommendations to the Social team.

  • Track competitors and category activity to identify whitespace, emerging practices and meaningful shifts.

  • Partner with Community and Guest Experience to identify guest signals that should influence content, operations or broader business decisions.

Measurement & Performance

  • Own Organic Social performance measurement, reporting and benchmarking across always-on and campaign work.

  • Partner with Strategy to define learning questions, success measures and benchmarks before work launches.

  • Analyze content, campaign, channel and creator performance to understand not only what happened, but why.

  • Build clear, decision-ready reporting that connects performance to customer behavior and business objectives.

  • Recommend what the team should repeat, change, stop or scale.

Social Intelligence & Optimization

  • Direct partner and platform resources that provide listening infrastructure, dashboards and data inputs — while owning insight, interpretation and recommendation internally. Partners supply signal; this role owns the "so what."

  • Connect listening, performance, community response and competitive activity into one view of what matters now.

  • Operate a Signal → So What → Recommendation → Action/Owner learning loop and follow through on whether recommendations were implemented.

  • Maintain the team's test-and-learn agenda and document learning over time so campaigns and content do not start from zero.

  • Partner with Strategy, Creative and Influencer leads to turn learning into better briefs, content, creator choices and amplification decisions.

  • Track whether recommendations improved outcomes and continuously sharpen the team's benchmarks and decision rules.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media analytics, social listening, consumer insights, digital analytics or a related discipline.

  • Hands-on experience with social listening and analytics platforms including Sprout Social, Google Data Studio, Microsoft Power BI, and Sprout Social.

  • Strong analytical ability with a demonstrated talent for turning data into concise, actionable recommendations.

  • Strong cultural and competitive curiosity; able to distinguish a meaningful signal from noise.

  • Comfort working across qualitative and quantitative inputs, including comments, sentiment, content performance and campaign data.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize ruthlessly: deliver the recurring scoreboard efficiently while protecting time for the signals and questions that change decisions.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to recommend action rather than simply report findings.

  • Highly organized and able to manage recurring reporting while responding to fast-moving cultural or business questions.

  • Ability to assist with social execution as needed.

  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent relevant experience.

WHO YOU ARE

No job is too small. You recognize that the real work happens in the restaurants, and everything we do should support their success. You stay humble, roll up your sleeves, and always look for ways to help. You learn from others and contribute wherever you can.

You care deeply about doing great work and driving results. You’re curious, ask questions, and seek out opportunities to improve. You don’t just point out problems—you bring solutions, ideas, and perspectives that move the team forward.

You take full responsibility for your work and see things through to completion. You aren’t afraid to fail because you know that failure is a part of learning and growth. You take action, move fast, and keep pushing forward.

You lead with empathy, respect, and emotional intelligence. You collaborate effectively, fostering a culture of trust and constructive feedback. You understand the importance of teamwork and ensure that your actions build others up rather than break them down.

You push yourself and others to be better. You embrace healthy conflict, knowing that great ideas and strong teams emerge from honest, constructive conversations. You believe that leaders create leaders and are committed to fostering a culture of growth, challenge, and continuous improvement.
