HONK is transforming the towing and roadside assistance industry by turning high-stress automotive moments into seamless, brand-enhancing experiences. With the highest customer satisfaction scores in the industry and a continued commitment to digital innovation and excellence, HONK remains a trusted partner for some of the nation’s largest insurers, fleets, automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and retailers.
As an Associate Product Manager, you'll work at the intersection of operations and technology to transform how enterprise clients experience HONK's platform. This role is perfect for a sharp, analytical mind who thrives on solving complex operational puzzles through software. You'll synthesize requests from across the company, including Network Operations, Client Success, and Sales, then translate them into strategic product improvements that create lasting value.
Working closely with Product Leadership, you'll learn to build and own roadmaps while developing deep expertise in marketplace dynamics and enterprise software. We're looking for someone who gets energy from talking to people and understanding their real problems, not just building features.
What you’ll do
- Field and prioritize product requests from internal teams, identifying patterns that point to larger strategic opportunities
- Build relationships across the company by sitting with ops teams, joining client calls, and understanding the human side of every feature request
- Build business cases using quantitative analysis to determine which improvements drive the most value across cost, efficiency, and customer experience
- Own feature delivery from requirements through launch, coordinating with Engineering and Operations to ship improvements that actually get adopted
- Develop expertise in HONK's marketplace mechanics and enterprise client needs, becoming the go-to person for how our platform creates value
- Create and maintain roadmaps that balance quick wins with strategic initiatives, learning to say no as often as you say yes
- Leverage modern AI tools and automation to accelerate research, analysis, and documentation
What you’ll bring
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills. You can build financial models, run unit economics, and make data-driven arguments
- Natural curiosity about people and their problems. You'd rather have a conversation than read a requirements doc
- Hunger to learn complex systems quickly and translate that understanding into clear, actionable plans
- Strong business acumen from consulting, finance, business school, or early-stage startup experience
- Natural ability to see both the forest and the trees, understanding how small improvements ladder up to strategic outcomes
- Comfort with ambiguity and competing priorities while maintaining momentum on multiple initiatives
- Familiarity with modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to amplify your productivity
