Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business, is looking for an Associate Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team in Coppell, TX.
Position Summary:
Completes initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing shipments. Processes and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers. Processes hazardous goods in accordance with DOT requirements. Validates Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for incoming/outgoing chemical shipments. Maintains inventory of shipping supplies.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare inbound/outgoing shipments: pack, ship and label items per customer and carrier requirements.
- Able to operate a variety of lifts used in a warehouse environment.
- Verify inbound/outbound shipments against work orders, pick lists, and packing lists for correct part numbers, quantities, serial numbers, and documentation.
- Generate and validate inbound/shipping documentation: bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, certificates of conformance, hazardous material paperwork, and electronic shipping records.
- Operate shipment creation tools (carrier portals, SAP/EWM-ERP Shipping/Receiving modules) and print required labels and documents.
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international Shipping/Receiving regulations, including HAZMAT/DOT, export controls, and customer-specific requirements.
- Inspect packaging and labeling for accuracy and damage prevention; implement corrective action for packaging defects.
- Maintain organized, clean Shipping/Receiving area and adhere to safety and security practices (PPE, lockout/tagout when applicable).
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce Shipping/Receiving errors, cut costs, and improve cycle time.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- 1-3 years' experience in s Shipping/Receiving operations, warehouse inbound/outbound functions, or related logistics roles.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35lbs frequently and up to 75lbs with assistance or equipment, per company policy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Proficiency with standard PC applications (email, spreadsheets) and experience with SAP/EWM-ERP shipping modules preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and labeling.
- Ability to read and interpret packing lists, routing instructions, and shipping paperwork.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

- High School Diploma / Equivalent, minimum
