Represent clients in general liability and insurance defense matters, including evaluating files, communicating with clients, managing discovery, conducting legal research, preparing motions and appeals, attending pretrial proceedings, and handling trials. The attorney will work independently in a high-volume environment while maintaining strong organization, communication, and time-management skills.

The Pittsburgh Office in Mt. Lebanon, PA is looking for a General Liability Attorney to join our growing team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluate new files.
- Client communications.
- Discovery production.
- Research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law.
- Prepare and argue discovery.
- Substantive, dispositive pre- and post-trial motions and appeals.
- Attend pretrial listings.
- Motions and trial.
Position Requirements:
- Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in Pennsylvania.
- 5-7 years of insurance defense experience required; insurance coverage background and trial experience preferred.
- Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
- Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
