We are seeking a motivated and technically curious intern to join our Corporate IT team as a Junior Autonomous AI Workflow Developer. This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing AI-driven workflows that automate business processes, integrate enterprise systems, and enhance IT service delivery.

The intern will contribute to initiatives centered on IT asset lifecycle management and Autonomous IT Support (Helpdesk 2.0), helping reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency across Corporate IT.

This position offers hands-on experience in enterprise automation, AI-enabled workflows, and system integration within a modern IT environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

·         Assist in designing and developing agentic AI workflows to automate Corporate IT processes

·         Build integrations across enterprise platforms (HRIS, ITSM, identity, device management, finance systems)

·         Support development of AI-powered agents for ticket triage, request fulfillment, and knowledge retrieval

·         Collaborate with Helpdesk, Enterprise Applications, and Systems teams to identify automation opportunities

·         Develop scripts (Python, PowerShell, or similar) to support workflow execution

·         Participate in testing, debugging, and optimizing automation pipelines

·         Document workflows, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures

·         Monitor workflow performance and recommend improvements

 

Performance Goals & KPIs (SMART Framework)

1. IT Asset & Lifecycle Management Automation

Goal: Improve visibility, accuracy, and automation of IT asset lifecycle processes (procurement → provisioning → usage → decommissioning)

KPIs:

·         Achieve ≥ 95% asset data accuracy across systems within the internship period

·         Automate at least 2 lifecycle workflows (e.g., onboarding provisioning, offboarding asset recovery)

·         Reduce manual asset updates by 30% through automation

·         Ensure 100% of new assets are auto-registered in the system of record

·         Enable near real-time synchronization between asset systems

Example Deliverables:

·         Automated asset lifecycle workflows triggered by HR or procurement events

·         Asset tracking dashboard covering full lifecycle stages

·         Integration between Jira Service Management and Microsoft Intune

2. Autonomous IT Support (Helpdesk 2.0)

Goal: Implement AI-driven workflows to reduce manual service desk workload and improve response times

KPIs:

·         Automate 20–30% of Tier 1 service requests

·         Reduce average resolution time by 20% for targeted workflows

·         Achieve ≥ 70% auto-triage accuracy for incoming tickets

·         Deliver at least 2 AI-powered agents (e.g., triage, response automation)

·         Improve first-contact resolution rate by 15%

Example Deliverables:

·         AI-based ticket classification and routing in Jira Service Management

·         Automated responses for common requests using ChatGPT or similar tools

·         Self-service workflows for access requests and common IT issues

 


***The US base salary range for this full-time position is:

$20.16 - $30.25
