Summary

The BD & Marketing Coordinator - Global, working in collaboration with and in support of the firm’s strategic initiatives, supports the Senior Director of Global BD & Marketing and team in the day-to-day administration of the firm’s global business development efforts. This position includes facilitating communications projects including internal and external public relations efforts, digital projects, social media campaigns, business development efforts in connection with events and key clients and collaboration with other departments and teams, documenting procedures, and producing routine and ad-hoc reports.
Location

This position can sit in our Miami, or New York office and offers a hybrid work schedule. 
Responsibilities        
 

  • Develops and maintains a variety of reports and includes tracking usage as well as key performance indicators.

  • Creates, maintains and revises process documentation and other key projects as required.

  • Works closely with the Global BD & Marketing Team and expanded CMBD Team across the US, collaborating with the International BD & Marketing Team and stakeholders across the firm, to service internal and external clients and requests.

  • Works with outside vendors as needed to monitor open requests and flag any issues or delays, as well as track contractual obligations.

  • May participate in the strategic planning and development of the Firm’s BD and marketing to meet business goals and initiatives.

  • Assists with data tracking including referrals, key clients’ activities and strategic regional, in-market and global special projects.

  • Other duties assigned with travel required as needed.
     

Desired Skills   

Experience in a law firm setting preferred. Experience working with assigned practice group or similar is preferable but not required. Collaborative team player who can both take direction and self-start. Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to transfer learnings from one situation to the next, and a flexible and organized approach. Critical thinker, eager to learn, positive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines. Emerging relationship builders who are committed to learning the practice and eager to grow their skill set and take the initiative to create and foster engagement. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required; experience with CRM and experience management platforms such as InterAction is a plus.
Minimum Education                        

  • High School Diploma or GED.
     

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, IT or related field preferred.
     

Minimum Years of Experience  

  • 2 years’ experience in a professional services environment, project management, database administration and/or customer support required.

Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.    

Work Environment    

The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work, the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firm’s discretion in the future.

The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $30.98 - $46.33 per hour depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws.
 

The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
