BDR Manager & Player-Coach

Why Julota

Julota unites the helper community, including Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Social Services, Public Health, and Behavioral Health, so communities can deliver better care together. Our platform enables agencies to securely share data with consent, coordinate services, and track outcomes that reduce 911 overuse, ER visits, and jail diversions. Customers stay with us because we stay close to them and build what works

The Opportunity

We are looking for a player-coach BDR Manager to lead and inspire our Business Development team while actively generating pipeline alongside them. You will mentor a team of 2 BDRs, with a clear path to expand, while also owning your own outbound and conference-based prospecting quota. This role offers visibility, ownership, and recognition tied directly to results. If you love building strong teams, creating momentum with prospects, and want to help shape Julota’s next stage of growth, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Coach

• Lead, coach, and elevate a team of 2 BDRs with a clear path to expand headcount as performance grows.

• Run weekly 1:1s, team standups, and pipeline reviews to drive energy, accountability, and progress.

• Own how the team operates day to day while staying aligned with shared goals.

• Partner closely with Marketing and Sales Leadership to align messaging, campaigns, and territory strategy.

• Create and refine playbooks, sequences, cadences, and repeatable best practices that scale.

Player Responsibilities

• Prospect into priority accounts through targeted outbound and rapid inbound follow-up.

• Run high-energy booth conversations at 6 to 8 conferences each year. Book next steps on the spot and nurture teammates who need support converting conversations into pipeline.

• Qualify prospects, uncover pain, and connect Julota’s value to their programs and goals.

• Book product demos and keep opportunities moving confidently through the funnel.

• Capture activity and insights in HubSpot and share feedback to strengthen lead quality and strategy.

You’ll Thrive Here If You

• Love talking to people and building relationships quickly.

• Enjoy competition, visible goals, and leading by example.

• Enjoy being the one people look to for energy and direction.

• Move fast, handle objections with confidence, and bounce back after a no.

• Are energized by live events, travel, and sparking early-stage deals.

• Want a clear path to grow your earnings and your title as the team scales.

Must Haves

• 3 to 5 years in a BDR or SDR role, including at least 1 year leading, mentoring, or managing others.

• Proven success in generating outbound pipeline and helping others hit targets.

• Comfortable operating remotely and setting a structured foundation for your team.

• Excellent communication skills across phone, video, and written channels.

Helpful Experience

• Background in Healthcare, Public Sector, EMS, Law Enforcement, or Behavioral Health.

• Proficiency with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.

• Strong ability to tailor messaging based on who you are talking to.

• Familiarity with digital selling and common outbound sales methodologies.

Compensation & Location

• On-Target Earnings: $100,000 to $140,000+

• Variable Compensation:

o Monthly bonus tied to team and personal demo quotas

o Quarterly bonus tied to personal and team overperformance

o Additional bonus tied to closed-won deals influenced by your team

*Fully remote within the U.S. (Colorado preferred)*

Why This Role Matters

This is a high-visibility role where you can directly influence Julota’s growth. You will help build our outbound engine while staying close to the action. If you want to sell a mission you believe in, build a team from the ground up, and shape strategy as we scale, we would love to talk.
