We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the execution of our evolving global benefits strategy. This role is perfect for a high-potential individual who has mastered the fundamentals of U.S. benefits and is eager to scale their career into international benefits management and system implementation.

To thrive in this role, you should be comfortable working independently on routine operational tasks while confidently partnering on complex, strategic projects—such as "in-housing" programs or scaling into new global markets. Regular collaboration with benefits brokers, People Operations, and Workplace teams will be key to your success.

Key ResponsibilitiesBenefits Operations & Administration:
  • Enrollment Management: Process daily enrollments, terminations, and Qualified Life Events (QLEs) accurately across all relevant vendor portals.

  • Billing Reconciliation: Oversee and perform monthly reconciliations of complex carrier invoices against payroll deductions to ensure 100% data accuracy; proactively investigate and resolve high-level billing discrepancies.

  • Open Enrollment: Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual Open Enrollment cycle, including portal testing and drafting employee communication materials.

Global Coordination & Support:
  • Local Broker Alignment: Serve as the primary point of contact for local brokers in our international hubs to facilitate seamless employee onboarding.

  • Program Documentation: Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining comprehensive "Local Benefit Guides" for each country to clearly outline statutory and supplemental coverage.

  • Leave Management: Partner closely with the People Services team to coordinate, track, and manage employee leaves of absence.

  • Employee Experience: Act as the first line of support to resolve employee inquiries regarding coverage, claims, and system access with empathy and clarity. Conduct regular benefits orientations for new hires across various time zones.

Compliance & Strategy:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with the Manager, People Services to maintain strict compliance standards and accurate records for ACA, COBRA, and ERISA in the U.S.

  • Audit Support: Assist the broader team in gathering data for annual audits and mandatory compliance filings globally.

  • Data Security: Ensure data privacy standards (including GDPR and HIPAA) are strictly enforced across all global benefits data.

  • Program Implementation: Manage the end-to-end implementation of global benefits programs with minimal oversight.

  • Vendor & Market Strategy: Own day-to-day relationships with benefit brokers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators (TPAs). Proactively identify gaps in our regional offerings and recommend market-competitive solutions.

What you will bring

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in HR Operations, or 1–2 years of dedicated benefits management experience directly managing at least one country's benefits architecture.

  • Global Exposure: Prior exposure to international benefits (e.g., Canada or UK) is a plus, but a strong appetite to learn global markets is required.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a proven ability to translate complex insurance and regulatory jargon into clear, accessible terms for employees.

What you will have

  • Time Management: Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.

  • Organizational Excellence: Strong organizational skills paired with a structured approach to managing multiple responsibilities.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy and quality in all deliverables.

  • Relationship Building: Natural ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across teams.
