Mako Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bilingual Recruiting Coordinator to support the recruiting and hiring process from initial candidate outreach through onboarding. This role will support the recruitment of industrial, commercial, skilled trades, and administrative positions, working closely with the Director of Staffing and hiring managers to identify, coordinate, and onboard qualified candidates.

Positions supported may include HVAC Service Technicians, Journeyman Service Plumbers, Electricians, Welders, Structural Fitters, Instrumentation Technicians/Fitters, Mechanical Assemblers, and other candidates with industrial backgrounds, as well as administrative and support staff.

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate communication, assisting with sourcing and job postings, and ensuring a smooth and professional hiring experience for all applicants. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication and organizational skills, and is passionate about supporting talent acquisition efforts across a variety of industries and positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

  • Support recruiting efforts for industrial, commercial, skilled trades, and administrative positions.

  • Assist with recruiting candidates for positions such as HVAC Service Technicians, Journeyman Service Plumbers, Electricians, Welders, Structural Fitters, Instrumentation Technicians/Fitters, and other industrial professionals.

  • Assist with posting job openings on job boards, social media, internal platforms, and other recruiting channels.

  • Review resumes and assist with candidate sourcing and screening efforts.

  • Identify candidates with relevant industrial, mechanical, electrical, construction, skilled trade, technical, and administrative experience.

  • Prepare interview materials and maintain accurate information within the applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, drug screenings, and onboarding documentation as required.

  • Track recruiting metrics, interview schedules, candidate pipelines, and hiring progress.

  • Provide administrative and recruiting support to the Director of Staffing and hiring managers.

  • Ensure a positive, responsive, and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate and company information.

  • Assist with career fairs, hiring events, recruiting events, and recruitment marketing activities.

  • Help build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.

  • Communicate with candidates regarding job requirements, interview details, next steps, and onboarding requirements.

  • Ensure recruiting activities are conducted in accordance with company hiring policies and applicable employment regulations.

  • Perform other recruiting and administrative duties as needed to support the staffing team.

Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of recruiting, HR, administrative, or coordination experience preferred.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); familiarity with Paycom and Paylocity preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments.

  • Familiarity with HR systems and recruitment platforms.

  • Experience recruiting for industrial, commercial, skilled trades, technical, and administrative positions is a plus.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers, the Director of Staffing, and leadership teams.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with candidates from a variety of professional and skilled-trade backgrounds.

  • Full-time, onsite position.

  • Office environment.

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

  • Fast-paced environment supporting multiple open positions and candidates simultaneously.
