About Binance Accelerator Program
Binance Accelerator Program (BAP) is a 3-6 month internship program designed for Early Career talent to have firsthand experience in the rapidly expanding digital assets space. You will be given the opportunity to develop your skills at Binance and understand what it’s like to work at the world's leading blockchain ecosystem. As part of your internship in the BAP, there will also be opportunities for networking and development, which will expand your professional network and build transferable skills to propel you forward in your career.     Responsibilities

  • Conduct cutting-edge research on modern cryptographic protocols, including post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, signature aggregation, and proof systems for blockchain applications.
  • Explore and benchmark NIST post-quantum signature standards and emerging constructions from recent academic literature.
  • Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to translate research outcomes into practical applications.
  • Publish research findings and contribute to open-source cryptographic projects when appropriate.
  • Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Cryptography, or a closely related field
  • Strong theoretical or practical knowledge of cryptography, in areas such as post-quantum signatures, MPC/threshold protocols, zero-knowledge proofs, or interactive proof systems (e.g., sumcheck-based protocols)
  • Proficiency in at least one of Rust, C++, or Python
  • Ability to read and reason about security proofs from academic literature
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior research experience or publications in post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, or verifiable computation
  • Familiarity with blockchain architectures, smart contract platforms, or on-chain signature verification constraints
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate research workflows
