This is a remote position.

Our client is seeking analysis of existing Business Objects systems to prepare for migration to the latest version as well as to scope out the ongoing support of the environment based on its usage analysis.

Deliverable:

COMERIT will meet with the key stakeholders at our client and will:

•    Review existing BI Platform (Dev, QA and Prod) and document a migration approach.
•    Provide architecture assessment and options to decommission dev and only have Dev/Test as one platform and Prod as a second as an option.
•    Evaluate the option to deploy BOBJ on Azure cloud vs On-premise
•    Evaluate performance of current Publications and BW /HANA connections to see if SLA can be met while having the BW on HANA on-premise while BOBJ on Azure cloud
•    Evaluate the possibility of deploying a sandbox on cloud to do some benchmark testing for performance
•    Document the current and end state and provide a road-map to support for S4/Hana cloud migration about to take place in 18 month's time.
•    Come up with a timeline and migration tasks details and resources to complete the BOBJ migration before May 2023.

In scope:

•    Review in conjunction with internal stakeholders the current state of Analytics at our client.
•    Assist in identifying current analytics shortfalls and opportunities for improvements based on inputs provided by internal stakeholders
•    Advise on best practices and latest trends in BOBJ deployment best practices.
•    Evaluate Cloud vs On-premises deployment.
•    Facilitate design thinking sessions focusing on the future state of Analytics at the client
•    Provide an overall BOBJ upgrade and migration approach to the latest version on Windows 2019 architecture.

•    COMERIT is not responsible for applying updated standards to existing reports.
•    Execute any change or enhancements or perform analysis onto existent systems
•    Perform system support activities
•    Vendor management activities
