Position Overview:
The BPL Post Closing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth and accurate transition from loan closing to loan boarding and final file settlement.

This role supports Valere Commercial’s post-closing workflows by coordinating data, documentation, third-party communications, and audit requirements to ensure compliance, data integrity, and timely delivery of final collateral and documentation.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Prepare, review, and distribute loan data tapes for investors, servicers, warehouse partners, or internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to required formats and timelines.
•    Support and execute the transfer of post-closing loan images and document packages from the Loan Origination System (LOS) to SFTP repositories, including monitoring for successful delivery, troubleshooting issues, and validating completeness.
•    Respond to questions from internal teams and external partners (warehouse banks, investors, custodians, brokers, and other third parties). 
•    Provide timely and accurate information regarding loan files, documentation status, corrections, and exceptions.
•    Assist with preparing and organizing files for post-closing audits, investor reviews, or internal quality control. 
•    Track findings, follow up on remediation items, and ensure documentation meets all compliance and underwriting standards.
•    Support the movement, tracking, and reconciliation of collateral documents, final recorded documents, and title policies. 
•    Coordinate with internal counterparts that work with title companies, custodians, and servicing partners to ensure timely receipt, accuracy, and proper delivery.
•    Collaborate with operations leadership to maintain smooth post-closing workflows, identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support scaling efforts as Valere Commercial grows.

Qualifications and Skills:
•    Experience in mortgage, private lending, or commercial real estate finance, preferred.
•    Familiarity with LOS platforms, SFTP processes, and document management tools.
•    Comfortable working in a dynamic, growing environment with evolving processes.
•    Skilled in maintaining excellent attention to detail and managing multiple deadlines.
•    Excellent communication skills for working with third-party partners.

Pay Range: 

  • Hourly Rate: 31.25 - 33.65 

The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position
