Support the client's growing brand by creating compelling, story-driven content that strengthens thought leadership, builds trust with target audiences, and reinforces the company's position as a strategic partner. The ideal writer will be able to interview executives and translate complex business concepts into engaging, accessible content while maintaining a consistent brand voice across channels.

Profile Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced brand-first copywriter with exceptional storytelling skills and a strong understanding of B2B content marketing. This writer should be equally comfortable developing strategic messaging and executing across a variety of content formats, ensuring every piece reinforces the brand while delivering value to its audience.

Experience writing for organizations in the fractional executive space, particularly within finance and HR, is highly preferred. The ideal candidate understands how to communicate the value of fractional leadership and can naturally weave thought leadership into educational, conversion-focused, and brand-building content.

Scope
  • Ongoing engagement
  • Approximately 30–35 hours per month to start
  • Expected to scale later in the year as content initiatives expand
  • US timezone, ET or CT preferred
Responsibilities
  • Develop compelling, brand-aligned copy across multiple content formats
  • Create website copy that clearly communicates value propositions and differentiators
  • Write SEO-informed content that balances search intent with strong brand storytelling
  • Produce thought leadership articles and long-form content that establishes industry credibility
  • Develop social media content that reflects the brand voice and supports audience engagement
  • Write customer success stories and case studies that highlight measurable business impact
  • Create partner enablement materials and other sales-support content
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective messaging
  • Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all deliverables
  • Incorporate strategic messaging frameworks while adapting content for different audiences and channels
Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a B2B brand copywriter or content strategist
  • Exceptional storytelling and messaging capabilities
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating work across websites, thought leadership, case studies, and digital marketing content
  • Ability to balance brand messaging with SEO best practices
  • Experience interviewing subject matter experts and transforming insights into compelling content
  • Strong understanding of audience-driven messaging and content strategy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • Experience writing for SaaS, professional services, consulting, or startup environments preferred
  • Highly preferred: Previous experience creating content for companies offering fractional finance and/or HR leadership services
