We’re looking for a Senior Brand Designer with signage and wayfinding expertise to join our Austin Lifestyle Studio—where we shape experiences across Texas and beyond. Our work spans college football stadiums, MLS venues, hospitality destinations, landmark lifestyle districts, high-rises, and iconic workplace brands. At the heart of our studio is an experience-driven mindset—where brand strategy, storytelling, and spatial design converge to create places people love.

Your Role

In this role, you’ll lead signage and wayfinding design from strategy to implementation—helping guide people through places in ways that are intuitive, on-brand, and unforgettable. You’ll collaborate with architects, interior designers, strategists, and brand designers to bring environments to life through thoughtful visual communication systems. You’ll work on projects that shape culture, movement, memory, and identity—all through the lens of environmental design.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the design, development, and documentation of signage and wayfinding systems across multiple project types and scales

  • Translate brand strategy and environmental storytelling into signage systems that are legible, elegant, and experiential

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure signage and graphics are integrated into architectural and interior design from day one

  • Develop programming, sign location plans, message schedules, and documentation packages

  • Coordinate with clients, fabricators, and consultants through all phases of design

  • Guide junior team members through signage workflows, design standards, and implementation best practices

  • Help shape the studio’s signage expertise and contribute to growing our portfolio in sports, hospitality, workplace, and mixed-use environments

Your Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in signage and wayfinding within an architecture or design firm

  • Strong understanding of environmental graphic design and its implementation in the built environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field

  • Expertise in designing and documenting signage systems—from code and wayfinding signage, to custom brand moments

  • Familiarity with room numbering systems, user journey mapping, ADA and building code compliance, and industry standards

  • Experience using Revit for signage programming and coordination is a plus

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Revit and SketchUp

  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize across multiple fast-paced projects

  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and follow-through

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills—comfortable leading both internal teams and client conversations

  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs

This position is in-person. Successful candidates will be located in the Austin, Texas area. If you’re open to relocating to the area, please apply! Non-local candidates are welcome.
