About Giga

Giga is building gigawatts of AI data centers to hasten a future of intelligence and abundance. We build data centers fast and at scale by combining the capabilities of an equipment supplier, engineering firm, general contractor, and real estate developer under one roof. Our team moves quickly and thinks practically. If you're ready to make an impact in an industry that matters, we're looking for people like you.

Why join Giga
  • The Pace: We're building at a speed most companies talk about but never actually operate at. If you've been bored somewhere else, you won't be here.
  • The Impact: Every person at Giga touches the work that matters. No layers, no waiting for approval chains. You'll see your fingerprints on what we ship.
  • The Team: A team of operators defining the future of AI infrastructure. We recruit A-players from the most innovative companies in the world, and they choose Giga because the work here means more.
  • The Moment: AI doesn't run without power, and that's us. Giga is the picks and shovels behind the AI revolution. This industry is about to explode, and you'll be in the room where it's already happening.
What you’ll do

This is a founding designer role, and you'll have real creative control over how Giga looks, feels, and shows up in the world. We're not handing you a rulebook to enforce. We're handing you the pen.

You'll own our brand and design system end to end, and you'll define the visual identity and the system behind how AI data centers get built: the imagery, the language of our diagrams, and the way we render power, hardware, and infrastructure so that a market still figuring out how to picture this buildout looks to us first. That identity will live everywhere from OOH campaigns to the website to the decks that close deals. You won't be doing it alone: you'll have ample support and raw material to work with, including in-house content, video, and photography resources already in place, plus writers and technical teammates who can feed you strategy, footage, and stills. Your job is to shape all of it into one coherent, unmistakable brand.

Where you’ll work

We are an in-office culture — velocity matters when you're building physical infrastructure, and the best decisions happen in the room. This role is ideally based in our San Francisco, Long Beach, or Houston offices, with full-time onsite expectations outside of bi-weekly WFH Fridays.

That said, we will make exceptions for truly exceptional talent if you live outside one of our hubs. If you're the right person for this role, we'll have a conversation about what works.

Responsibilities
  • Own and scale the design system in Figma: components, reusable templates, and the standards everyone else builds on.
  • Define the visual identity and system for how data centers are built, including the imagery, diagrams, and visual language that shape how Giga and the industry picture AI infrastructure.
  • Own creative for ads from concept through execution and iteration, across channels.
  • Translate strategy into compelling visuals that strengthen the brand.
  • Direct and shape our in-house content, video, and photo resources into brand-consistent work.
  • Create website imagery, social graphics, and lead magnets, maintaining consistency across every touchpoint.
  • Direct landing page visual design and partner closely with developers.
  • Build sales collateral, including decks and enablement materials that help close deals.
  • Prototype campaign and product visuals fast
Requirements
  • 5+ years in brand design, with a portfolio showing paid creative, web design, and sales collateral.
  • Strong typography and visual storytelling, with fast turnaround.
  • Advanced Figma proficiency, with strong file hygiene and scalable component thinking.
  • An ownership mindset: you make proactive decisions and want creative control rather than a spec to follow.
  • Experience collaborating with marketers, writers, and technical teammates.
  • Experience building and experimenting with AI tools for creative production.
Bonus points
  • Experience in B2B or infrastructure.
  • Motion design or 3D work.
  • Design operations experience.
Benefits
  • Subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Equity (options) in a rapidly growing startup
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Parental leave
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Commuter benefits
  • Monthly team onsites where all offices come in–person to collaborate
Who we hire

We hire people who thrive in chaos and get sharper under pressure. You don't wait to be told what to do, you spot the gap and fill it. When there's work to be done, you do it. You make decisions with the information you have, move fast, and adjust along the way. We're not looking for perfect; we're looking for people who get things done.
