About Arbor

Arbor helps renters, homeowners, and small businesses pay less for electricity. Behind the scenes, Arbor is building an intelligent electricity platform to power an abundant electric future. As AI data centers drive a surge in electricity demand, millions of homes and businesses remain trapped with 20th century monopoly models, overpaying by billions. Our AI-powered platform aggregates users to unlock better pricing, automatically switches between the best rates, and optimizes usage to align with prices in real-time—delivering the same advantages that were previously exclusive to Fortune 500 companies. We've raised over $20 million from leading investors and have saved millions for our users.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Brand Lead to own Arbor’s content strategy and execution—building a high-quality, repeatable content engine that strengthens our brand, earns trust, and drives growth.

Energy is a high-skepticism category. The best content doesn’t just perform on a channel—it reduces friction across the entire funnel by making Arbor feel credible, clear, and aligned with the customer. In this role, you’ll create content that shows up where people make decisions: search, social, press, partnerships, lifecycle, and the website.

What you’ll do
  • Own Arbor’s brand marketing strategy, roadmap, and editorial calendar across key surfaces (web, SEO/GEO, comms lifecycle, social, and partnerships).

  • Create and ship high-quality content that builds trust and understanding—explaining complex topics simply and credibly.

  • Spearhead integrating our brand narrative and content into our customer lifecycle.

  • Develop proof-driven storytelling: customer outcomes, case studies, testimonials, before/after narratives, and clear explanations of what Arbor does and doesn’t do.

  • Build and scale data-informed content (e.g., market insights, trends, explainers) that can be repurposed into PR hooks, social content, performance creative, and lifecycle assets.

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure design and content are accurate, on brand, compliant, and grounded in real customer needs.

  • Use AI to execute on ambitious content initiatives.

  • Establish a scalable production system (templates, briefs, QA standards, distribution workflows, freelancers as needed).

  • Measure content performance and continuously improve: traffic quality, conversion lift, engagement, distribution efficiency, and content reuse.

What you bring
  • 5-7+ years of experience in brand and content marketing, editorial, and brand storytelling (B2C experience strongly preferred; marketplace/fintech a plus).

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strong taste for clarity, credibility, and customer empathy.

  • Proven ability to translate complex topics into content that drives business outcomes (not just impressions).

  • Comfort working with data: partnering with analysts, turning insights into narratives, and backing claims with evidence.

  • Strong operational instincts: you can run a content engine—briefs, timelines, stakeholders, QA, and consistent output.

  • Track record leveraging AI to develop and accelerate content production.

  • High ownership and bias to ship: you thrive in fast-moving environments where you define problems and create structure.

  • Experience with Figma, Adobe or other design tools.

Great to have
  • PR experience (press-ready narratives, data drops, media briefs).

  • SEO fundamentals (search intent, content architecture, on-page best practices; schema familiarity a plus).

  • Experience creating content that repurposes well into paid creative and lifecycle journeys.

  • Experience with Webflow or other similar CMSs.

Compensation & work setup
  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity + benefits

  • Remote with occasional in-person collaboration as needed

Arbor is an equal opportunity employer. We value diverse perspectives and are committed to building an inclusive team. If you need accommodations during the hiring process, let us know.
