Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst III to support a large-scale Smart Metering Program focused on deploying next-generation gas metering infrastructure across multiple states. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, operations, and IT teams to gather requirements, support system integrations, validate business processes, and ensure successful deployment of smart metering solutions.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience supporting Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, or Petroleum industry clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for smart metering initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business users, project teams, and program managers to support deployment activities.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to capture requirements and communicate project updates.
  • Support system integration, data mapping, and business process validation.
  • Develop and execute integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans.
  • Validate end-to-end meter data across enterprise applications, including SAP integrations.
  • Create functional documentation, process flows, and business requirement documents.
  • Monitor project milestones, deployment progress, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Support change management initiatives and ensure adherence to business standards and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, and IT.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5–7+ years of Business Analyst experience.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, UAT, data mapping, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with SAP and enterprise system integrations.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in Agile or large enterprise project environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Must have prior experience working with Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, or Petroleum industry clients.
  • Experience supporting Smart Metering, AMI, Utility Operations, or Gas Distribution projects is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of meter deployment programs, field operations, and enterprise integration projects is a strong plus.
