Paradigm is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support our client’s Data Services team. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality data deliverables. The ideal candidate will have SQL experience, strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Type: 12 month contract
Pay Rate: $24-$29/hr

As an Associate Business Analyst, you will:
- Analyze, validate, and assess data using tools such as Excel, SQL Server, and related technologies to ensure business and client requirements are met.
- Work with Client Services and Data Analysts to keep production work moving smoothly and resolve issues efficiently.
- Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and validations to ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and ready for release.
- Support ongoing production processes by monitoring data workflows, identifying anomalies, and coordinating timely issue resolution.
- Follow established software development standards, processes, methodologies, and departmental policies.
- Accurately track, log, and report time, progress, and service request comments according to Data Services policies.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, leadership, Project Managers, and external stakeholders.
- Provide timely status updates and escalate risks when appropriate.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve data processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
- SQL experience, including writing and running queries and completing research.
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Process Specialist, or similar role where business requirements are captured and broken down.
- Experience with relational databases and ability to understand moderately complex SQL logic preferred.
- Basic understanding of data modeling, data organization, and ETL concepts preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent industry experience.
