Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Austin, TX

Required:
·  6 Years of experience writing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) of which a minimum of 2 years were spent developing RFPs for Texas state agencies.
·  5 Years of Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
·  5 Years of experience successfully leading meetings and facilitating discussions.
·  5 Years of expertise using Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio, with exceptional skills in Word and Visio.
·  Strong Knowledge of how Texas Medicaid is implemented and managed.
·  Strong Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups, and manage multiple responsibilities.
·  Strong Excellent analytical, problem-solving, team playing and communication skills.
· Strong Experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals and independently perform a variety of complicated tasks; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
·  Strong Oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
·  Experience drafting RFPs for one of the five agencies within Texas Health and Human Services: the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS), the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), and Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).
·  Prior experience developing Federal funding requests (Planning Advanced Planning Documents and Implementation Advanced Planning Documents).
·  Knowledge of the State of Texas Contract Management Guide.
