Harris Corrections is looking for a Solution Architect/Business Analyst to join our team.
 

What your impact will be:

  • Examine and create functional requirements for corrections software
  • Examine and document new or revised product, program, service, or process
  • Document, validate and manage requirements from stakeholders
  • Partner closely with the Product Owner, Project Managers, Development and QA teams
  • Create comprehensive use cases and acceptance criteria for new or revised products
  • Act as a bridge between business and R&D teams
  • Follow and adjust to changing requirements in the corrections industry
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Work on documentation, release notes and other documentation as needed
  • Help Project Managers and Sales

What we expect:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, operations or information systems, or a related field
  • Professional certification in business analysis, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA); or equivalent
  • Experience with relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analytics tools
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams (Product, R&D, QA, Implementation) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
  • Knowledge of development cycle including QA
  • Knowledge of Agile Development and technical project implementation and delivery
  • Knowledge of corrections industry an asset
