Business Analyst
Location: Dallas, Texas (Hybrid) | Practice Area: Business Consulting | Type: Permanent

The Role
As a Business Analyst at Capco, you will work closely with clients across the financial services and energy sectors, supporting the delivery of transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in understanding business objectives, gathering and translating requirements, and enabling effective collaboration between business and technology stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze current and future state processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Develop high-quality business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements
  • Support defect resolution and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs
  • Produce clear, concise deliverables including reports, presentations, and client communications

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst
  • Experience in consulting, financial services, or energy industries is advantageous
  • Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to communicate insights effectively
  • Experience working with stakeholders to manage requirements and project progress

Bonus Points For

  • Experience supporting system implementation or transformation projects
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies
  • Ability to map data requirements to system fields
  • Experience producing client-facing consulting deliverables
  • Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
