The Business Development Associate will engage potential customers, track activities in HubSpot, support Growth Directors, and collaborate with teams to drive sales growth and meet key performance metrics.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Identify and engage potential customer accounts and key decision-makers through thorough research.
- Execute omni-channel outreach via phone, email, and social platforms to build relationships and schedule Discovery Calls/Demos for the Growth Team.
- Track and report all activities in HubSpot CRM to ensure seamless pipeline management.
- Utilize a suite of sales tools (HubSpot CRM, Apollo/Outreach, ZoomInfo, Winmo, Goody, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to optimize prospecting efforts.
- Support Growth Directors in advancing deals beyond the initial Discovery Call/Demo, ensuring smooth progression through the sales funnel.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Growth, and Business Development teams to align sales strategies and maximize impact.
- Curate and share relevant LinkedIn content to enhance personal branding and increase company visibility within the professional network.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies and the competitive landscape.
- Consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics, including activity volume (calls, emails, LinkedIn messages), meetings set, RFPs generated from outreach, and revenue contributions.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Interest in building a career in sales, with a passion for driving business growth.
- Up to 12 months of experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships effectively.
- High intellectual and emotional intelligence, demonstrating adaptability and strategic thinking.
- Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Background in competition, achievement, or athletics is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in cold calling and sales training is a plus, but not required.
