About Spotlight Media

Spotlight Media is a leading TikTok Shop Partner agency, scaling some of the most recognizable brands in the new age of social commerce. Unlike traditional agencies, we don’t believe in cookie-cutter playbooks—every strategy we craft is custom-built to unlock our clients’ full potential on TikTok Shop. As a TikTok Shop–only agency, our entire focus, from the initiatives we pursue to the talent we hire, is singularly dedicated to driving growth on the platform.

We’ve guided brands through the full funnel- from launch to scaling into the millions in GMV-and we’re just getting started.

We believe the future of e-commerce is social. That’s why we’re building a team of high-agency individuals who thrive on ownership, autonomy, and speed. Spotlight is not just a place to execute campaigns—it’s a blank canvas where ambitious people can build real leverage, take on increasing responsibility, and grow into senior operators quickly. Our culture is high-performing, entrepreneurial, and unapologetically ambitious.

Join us, and you’ll have the trust, resources, and runway to redefine what’s possible for the world’s leading brands.

The Role

We are hiring a Business Development & Content Growth Associate to be the founder's right hand on sales and content production. You will sit in on sales calls to learn how we pitch and how TikTok Shop growth actually works, take the post-call material off the founder's plate, build the case studies, develop new sales initiatives, and write content for LinkedIn and TikTok that generate inbound leads. The goal is for you to ramp into running and closing your own deals.

This is a sales and content role first. Everything sits under the sales umbrella: the materials you build will help us win deals, the case studies you write prove our value to the next brand, and the founder content you produce drives leads into the pipeline. You are hungry, you want a career in sales, and you see content and collateral as weapons to close more business.

What You'll Own

1. Business Development Support & Learning by the Founder's Side

  • Join the founder on sales calls to learn the pitch, the TikTok Shop strategy, objection handling, and how we sell. This is your training ground to become a closer.

  • Own post-call material prep: proposals, decks, and brand-specific recaps the founder currently builds by hand.

  • Build reusable proposal templates and a system so every brand gets sharp, on-brand follow-up fast.

  • Track the pipeline, follow up with prospects, and make sure no deal goes cold.

2. Case Studies & Content (lead generation)

  • Turn our wins (GMV results, new initiatives, creator campaigns) into polished case studies that close deals and build credibility.

  • Help produce LinkedIn and TikTok content. Every strong post brings in new leads and builds a content bank we reuse.

  • Build and maintain a library of proof assets and content the whole sales motion can pull from.

3. Outbound & Pipeline Growth

  • Reach out to target brands to expand our pipeline and our service offering, using the case studies and content you build as the hook.

  • Help open doors and book qualified calls, then sit in to learn how they convert.

4. Growth Into Closing

  • As you ramp, take on your own calls and start closing deals. This role is built to grow from sales support into a full sales seat with real commission upside.

Who You Are

You are sales-minded and hungry. You want to learn how to sell from a founder who does it well, and you are willing to do the supporting work (materials, content, follow-up) that earns you a path to closing. You are also a strong, persuasive writer who can turn a result into a story that makes a brand want to work with us.

Must-haves

  • 1-3 years in sales, business development, or a closely related role, or a clear, demonstrable hunger to build a sales career.

  • Strong, persuasive writer. You can build clean proposals and decks and write case studies and founder content that does not read as AI-generated.

  • Comfortable on calls and quick to learn. You can absorb a pitch and start running with it.

  • Organized and proactive. You manage follow-ups and a content cadence without being chased.

  • U.S.-based with native-level English. This is non-negotiable for client-facing selling and founder-voice writing aimed at an American audience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling marketing, agency, or SaaS services.

  • Familiarity with TikTok Shop, influencer marketing, beauty, or e-commerce.

  • Track record growing a personal or brand audience on LinkedIn or short-form.

  • Light design skills (Canva, Figma) and comfort using AI tools to move faster.

Why This Role Is Different
  • Learn sales from the founder. You get a front-row seat to every deal and a direct path to closing your own.

  • Real upside. As you ramp into closing, commission gives you uncapped earning potential.

  • Build, don't inherit. Our content and case-study engine is a blank canvas, and you get to build it.

  • Clear growth path. This role is designed to grow into a senior sales seat as we expand.

Compensation & Details

Compensation: Competitive base plus commission, with uncapped upside as you ramp into closing. Exact base depends on experience; we will align on a package that rewards results.

Location: Fully remote, U.S.-based.

Schedule: Full-time.

Reports to: Sam Habibi (Founder).

How to Apply

Send your resume plus a short note on why you want to build a sales career and any selling or writing you are proud of. If you have writing samples (a proposal, a post, a case study), include them. We care more about hunger and communication than a perfect resume.
