The Business Development Manager spearheads high-volume outbound sales to AI startups and enterprise buyers, matching GPU inventory with buyer needs while managing the sales cycle.
ABOUT US:
Impossible Cloud is a fast-growing B2B cloud company headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. We have built a cloud object storage solution comparable to AWS S3, purpose-built and optimised for AI and compute workloads. Our commercial hyper-growth speaks for itself, powered by our channel-first go-to-market strategy.
We are now expanding beyond storage: we are building a high-performance compute platform, offering an end-to-end solution from GPU infrastructure to full GPU platform software stack. In doing so, we are redefining the cloud ecosystem by bridging the gap between decentralised infrastructure (DePIN), mainstream B2B cloud use cases, and AI applications.
Find out more about us here.
THE MARKET
GPU compute is the most constrained resource in enterprise AI today. AI startups, model labs, and enterprise teams need capacity (H100s, B200s, H200s…) and they need it now. Supply windows open and close in days. The players who win are the ones who move fastest and qualify hardest. We are not just filling orders. We are building a market maker, the go-to platform connecting global GPU supply and services with buyers who need it, and the preferred infrastructure layer for AI companies scaling their workloads.
THE ROLE
You run high-volume outbound to AI startups, model labs, and enterprise AI buyers, with automation and sequencing tools behind you to keep the volume up. Your job is to match buyer needs to available GPU inventory, and close. You work short cycles, high volume, fast. You carry a margin-based quota and own the full sales cycle from first outreach to signed order. As relationships mature, the strongest accounts grow into longer-term engagements across Impossible Cloud's full portfolio including NeoCloud infrastructure.
The GPU compute market is one of the fastest-growing categories in enterprise technology. We have the supply relationships, the sourcing team, and a full infrastructure portfolio. What we are building now is the deal making engine, and the person in this seat has a real opportunity to grow with it.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Run sustained high-volume outbound targeting AI startups, model labs, and enterprise AI infrastructure buyers & qualify fast - specs, timeline, volume, decision authority.
- Maintain pipeline discipline across a large, short-cycle book of business.
- Match demand requirements to available GPU inventory and close the deal while the window is open.
- Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders (legal, marketing, HW team, etc.) to close the deal fast and effectively.
- Own the full commercial close including pricing and margin management.
- Represent Impossible Cloud at AI infrastructure events and GPU-focused summits to build market presence.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- You are a hunter who gets excited by high hustle, high volume and million dollar deals.
- SDR or transactional sales background with a track record of hitting targets; full-cycle closing experience is a plus.
- Comfortable with speed and ambiguity - this market moves fast and you thrive in it.
- Background in commodity-style or high-velocity sales environments translates well: financial instruments, energy, logistics, aviation, maritime.
- Basic understanding of the GPU compute landscape is a plus; willingness to learn it fast is required.
- Early-stage startup experience strongly preferred - we are building the plane in flight.
- Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
- Performance-driven; you want your comp tied to what you close.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive salary coupled with direct engagement in your success through an enticing ESOP.
- Clear and transparent career progression scheme inspired by the best performing organisations incl. fast track promotion opportunity for exceptional performance to support your growth ambitions.
- Prime growth-stage company with proven revenue and a sharp edge in cloud — founded by serial entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits.
