Job Title: Business Development Manager— IMOS Solutions, North America

Location: NAM

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

About us

Cyncly is a global technology powerhouse with 2,400+ employees and 70,000+ customers across 100+ countries. Cyncly transforms the way customizable products and spaces are imagined, designed, sold, managed and made. Our end-to-end software solutions connect professional designers, retailers and manufacturers to the world's largest repository of product content. Today, our business spans across the Kitchen & Bath, Furniture, Window, Glass & Door, and Flooring industries with operations in North & South America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa.

Cyncly brings over 30 years of experience to deliver more value for our customers through an expanded portfolio of end-to-end solutions. Our global presence allows us to provide world-class support and sales with a local touch, providing the best possible customer experience.

Cyncly is now embarking on an exciting journey as we continue to expand through strong organic growth and complementary acquisitions, backed by leading growth private equity firms specialized in technology.

About the Role

Cyncly recently acquired IMOS AG, makers of iX— a leading CAD/CAM software platform used by furniture, cabinetry, and interior manufacturers to move seamlessly from design through CNC production. This is a founding sales hire for IMOS's North American growth: someone who can open a market. IMOS has not historically had a dedicated go-to-market motion in, build relationships with woodworking and cabinet manufacturers, and driving net-new business alongside cross-selling into Cyncly's existing customer base (Insight, 3CAD).

This role is equal parts sales hunter and industry translator — you'll need to be comfortable walking into a shop floor with a deep understanding of how a cabinet or furniture manufacturer actually designs, quotes, and cuts product today, and show them a credible path to doing it faster and with less waste using IMOS.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and close new business across an assigned North American territory, targeting furniture, cabinetry, kitchen & bath, and office furniture manufacturers
  • Own the full sales cycle: discovery, tailored workflow demos, proof-of-concept coordination, proposal, and close
  • Build and manage a pipeline in a market segment IMOS has not historically pursued directly — this is market-opening work, not order-taking
  • Partner with the broader Cyncly sales org on cross-sell and account expansion opportunities within the existing      & mature customer base
  • Represent IMOS at industry trade shows, events, and manufacturer associations
  • Provide field feedback to product and marketing on competitive positioning and buyer objections
  • Leverage Cyncly & IMOS as two historical market leaders to brand & grow IMOS into a leader in the North American market.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, with a track record of opening new accounts/markets
  • Demonstrated success carrying and exceeding a sales quota
  • Comfortable running a consultative, multi-stakeholder sales process with owners, production managers, and ops leads
  • Willingness to travel within territory ( consistent manufacturing shop visits & quarterly trade shows)

Strongly Preferred

  • Background in the woodworking, cabinetry, or furniture manufacturing industry
  • Experience selling into Kitchen & Bath or office furniture markets
  • Prior experience at, or selling against, Microvellum or Cabinet Vision
  • Sales experience with CNC/machine manufacturing companies (e.g., Biesse, Homag, or similar) — candidates who understand the machine side of the shop floor bring credibility that's hard to replicate
  • Software experience & familiarity with design-to-manufacture software workflows (CAD/CAM, nesting, cut-list optimization)

What Success Looks Like

  • Building a self-sourced pipeline in a net-new territory within the first 2 quarters
  • Closing early reference accounts that support broader IMOS NAM market entry
  • Contributing to win-back and cross-sell motion alongside the broader Cyncly sales team
  • Targeting $5M - $25M woodworking manufacturers to close 50 deals annually
