Position Summary
 
Culligan Quench is seeking a Business Development Manager to support our Indirect Division, which manufactures and distributes point-of-use equipment through a network of more than 300 dealers in North America. This person will play a key role in establishing relationships with dealers not already in Quench’s dealer network with the dual objectives of:
 
1) growing our dealer network by recruiting new dealers to represent Quench products- and
2) identifying attractive potential acquisition targets for our M&A team.  
 

Essential Functions: 

• Develop and execute a proactive outreach program to recruit new dealers, especially in underpenetrated markets 
• Build relationships with dealers (even those that might not be candidates for becoming a Quench dealer) that might eventually be good acquisition targets 
• Pitch Quench’s indirect brands and associated programs and qualify new potential dealers 
• Build and maintain an active pipeline of dealer and acquisition prospects 
• Work collaboratively with counterparts in other departments to ensure alignment of priorities and achieve budgeted revenue and EBITDA pipeline projections for Quench’s M&A and Indirect businesses 
• Serve as an ambassador for Quench at industry events 
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance 

Qualifications: 

• 3-5 years of sales or business development experience, ideally in the POU industry 
• Courteous, professional, likable, and prompt, with strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written); ability to build rapport quickly with new people 
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a results-driven, fast-moving environment 
• Ability to collaborate and use influence cross-functionally 
• Experience with sales quotas; familiarity with the acquisition process is a plus 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook). Experience with salesforce.com is a plus 
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
