Business Development Manager- Inside Sales Coordinator

Atmus Filtration Technologies is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager- Inside Sales Coordinator to lead and expand our HVAC air filtration wholesale channel and independent representative network. This role is a blend of high-level functional leadership and "boots-on-the-ground" relationship building. You will be responsible for maintaining our current account base while aggressively identifying and capturing new market opportunities. This is an on-site role in Louisville, KY, from Monday to Friday. 

Responsibilities

Channel & Network Management

  • Oversee and manage Atmus Filtration Technologies’ HVAC air filtration wholesale channel and independent representative network.
  • Establish rapport and develop long-term, solid relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Regional Account Managers to provide functional guidance and competitive pricing structures for new opportunities.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Solicit new business within the HVAC air filtration wholesale channel while managing existing accounts to ensure retention and growth.
  • Meet and exceed established sales, price, and margin targets.
  • Conduct field surveys of filter applications to provide expert recommendations for system improvements.
  • Present training sessions to educate current and prospective customers on the technical advantages of Atmus’ Filter products.

Operational Excellence

  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Production to ensure sales orders are processed accurately and shipped on schedule.
  • Utilize Salesforce to maintain a robust opportunity pipeline and log all account management activities.
  • Reporting: Deliver Year-Over-Year (YOY) sales reports, forecasts, and weekly expense/sales reports to management.
  • Problem Resolution: Actively address issues with tailored action plans that prioritize the company’s best interests.
  • Safety: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
     
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Business Management, Engineering, or Marketing from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred or equivalent experience (10+).

Experience

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in wholesale/distribution.
  • 2+ years of experience managing 3rd party vendors/contractors.
  • 2+ years of contract and negotiation experience.
  • Experience organizing and conducting trade shows.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for field surveys, client meetings, and training.
  • This is an on-site position (M-F) based at our Louisville, KY facility.


Base salary range:  $108,000-  $120,000
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. 
 

Compensation and Benefits 
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, other personal and professional benefits.
