About the role .
Reporting to Head of Sales, Sysco North America, this role is responsible for driving the development and execution of McCain's business plans with Sysco Canada, a high-priority customer, to maximize profitable growth across our foodservice portfolio of potato and appetizer products. You will lead the market level achievement of performance metrics, activate plans in collaboration with McCain field sales, lead engagement with market and regional Sysco stakeholders in Canada, and support engagement at the corporate level. All activities should reflect McCain Selling System (MSS) principles and support our shared growth objectives.
What you'll be doing.
  • Develop and execute business plans to consistently deliver volume, net sales, and annual KPI targets.
  • Align efforts across McCain Field Sales, Category Management, Customer Marketing, and Sysco stakeholders.
  • Build annual sales budgets to meet McCain's Annual Operating Commitment (AOC), and cascade targets through the sales organization.
  • Drive high-performance sales execution across all Sysco markets to exceed expectations.
  • Activate strategies using both corporate and local Sysco relationships and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Manage trade spend and travel/expense budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with plan.
  • Partner closely with McCain Field Sales Director and Area Managers to ensure clear priorities, activations and customer targets, while identifying and developing white space opportunities within the Canadian market.
  • Serve as a principled leader, consistently modeling collaboration, integrity, and a commitment to doing business the right way on behalf of McCain and Sysco.
  • Support Head of Sales, Sysco NA on other projects at both a corporate and market level as required
  • Travel up to 30% in market required.

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-10+ years of sales experience within Foodservice
  • Strong knowledge of the foodservice industry working at Sysco, US Foods, GFS, or similar
  • Sales experience with major local distribution accounts and/or buying group members desired.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proven track record of success
  • Proven analytical and data interpretation skills including ability to review, interpret and action data
  • Excellent, proven written and oral communication skills
  • Results-oriented self-starter, possessing strong motivation and collaboration skills
  • CRM system experience strongly desired
  • Must be proficient in the use of computers for Word and Excel (spreadsheets), Microsoft Outlook, and PowerPoint Presentations
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be open to overnight travel as required
  • 30% in-market/travel

Compensation Package : $97,500.00 - $130,000.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
